Had the most beautiful black rice porridge. Hubby had the Arrowtown Breakfast. It was next level. House made lamb merguez sausages, beans that were made in house too, so unique and the potato rösti. Came with perfectly cooked bacon and poached eggs and delicious ciabatta. I had walked up and down the main street twice and found this total gem! Nice ice coffee too. Hubby grabbed a beer from The Arrowtown Brewing Co next door. He was happy! The service was fantastic and the server picked up on my love for mascarpone and gave me extra on my porridge. He was so dedicated and amazing that hubby thought he was the owner! Thank you Jan for your attentiveness. We will be back next time we are in Arrowtown...

Honestly one of the most disappointing breakfasts I’ve had in a long time!

Food was bad, the gluten free toast was disgusting, eggs undercooked and bacon raw in places. Presentation was not on point, and the flavours just weren’t there. To top it off, it was VERY expensive for what you get!

To add, our coffee came well AFTER our meals.

There was also only one gluten free option on the menu which was just plain eggs on toast, which was very disappointing in this day and age.

I will definitely be dining elsewhere next time I go...
