Subject: Extremely Disappointing Experience at KFC Blenheim – Incorrect Order and Poor Service
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at the KFC Blenheim location on 58 Grove Road, Mayfield, Blenheim 7201, around 5:25 PM.
Upon placing my order, I requested to substitute the potato & gravy and bread roll in my combo with a regular Coke. After a wait of approximately 5–7 minutes, the female manager/senior informed me that substitutions were not allowed. However, she failed to explain that ordering a combo with a Coke would have been more cost-effective than purchasing the items separately. Due to this lack of clarity, I proceeded to order everything individually without understanding the price implications.
I then waited an additional 4–6 minutes to receive my order. Despite the significant delay for a fast-food chain of KFC’s global reputation, I remained patient. Fortunately, I asked for a receipt. Upon reviewing it at home, I discovered that I was charged for a Coke that was never included in my order.
This kind of oversight reflects extremely poor customer service and creates the impression of deceptive business practices. It’s disheartening to see a multinational company fail to meet even the most basic standards of service and transparency.
I urge KFC to address this issue seriously. False advertising, incorrect billing, and substandard customer service are unacceptable. If I had the means, I would strongly consider pursuing legal action for what I believe to be a misleading, false/fraud and unfair customer experience.
To others: please double-check your orders at the counter/drive through and always request a receipt. Trust must be earned, and unfortunately, my trust in this brand has been severely...
Read moreActually this was the first time we visited KFc Blenheim and it was a extremely bad experience there was a girl on the counter, i didn't get the name of the person but she has pink and black hair.when we placed an order i fell like that she was rude but thought its just me after that i asked for the docket she slamed the docket on the counter and it was not just us the lady in front of me also noticed that and then suddenly there was no one on the counter to serve us and she engaed her in a argument withe her colleague for some sort of harassment and she was accusing the colleagues and in front of us nearly 9 customer left and also the other colleagues starting apologizing even though it was not her fault (the girl she was on serving ) i must say she was really helpful even though neither of the staff come forward(store manager) to confront this situation she took the initiative and said sorry about...
Read moreMy partner and I called in for brunch and ordered through the kiosk. At the time, Billy was on the register and passing out orders to other customers and then he was organising our order. Great timing, we received hot, freshly made chicken pieces and he even went out back to get us a freshly packaged, hot, potato and gravy 💯 Appreciated your service Billy. Dined in at the Blenheim KFC and while eating we watched Billy clean tables and empty rubbish bins and after disposing of them out back, come straight back to the register, take their orders and fill them all. What a great young person to have on your team! Need more like him to get the reviews up as there have been scathing reviews. I even thanked him personally for his great service and work efforts while shaking his hand...
