Kuku was certainly one of my favorite parts of my visit to the Dunedin area. It was certainly the best flat whites I had during my trip covering both islands for two months. The great coffee is joined by cool vinyl being played and chats with the proprietor, Jared. None of the myriad customers I observed during my week of visits needed to order anything (unless they were picking up a cup of delight for their obviously valued friends.) Jared greeted them by name and already had their drink started before they reached the counter.
