Hazel House Boutique Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in South Island

This was our second time to stay in the Hazel House, this time for four nights! It is still a jewel in Dunedin. By car not far away from the city centre, very convenient to Tunnel Beach track and to many beaches, the old villa is very charming. Brent and Sandy are wonderful hosts, they really care about their guests. Everything is clean and tidy. This was one of the few places I could even try a bubble bath in a big tub. We stayed in this beautiful house for two nights during our visit to Dunedin. Brent and Sandy were great hosts who looked after us very well. On arrival we were met by Brent who welcomed us and Sandy produced us cups of tea with cookies. Our on suite room was delightful although we had the choice on the king size bed. Breakfasts were simply delicious with no attention to detail spared. We had the use of their beautiful lounge and even had wine as a complimentary bonus🤗. We had a lovely couple of nights at Hazel House. We were made to feel very welcome by Sandy and Brent, offered drinks and cookies on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely room and huge private bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed.
