Rather disappointed. Ordered a 21st cake online for my daughters 21st 2 weeks in advance along with a special order of 2 gluten free cupcakes for 2 of her flatmates who cannot tolerate any gluten. I paid online and was quoted more than what I had calculated out on their menus advertised. I asked for an invoice which I never got and then the cake turned up but not the cupcakes! This was very embarrassing and left me feeling gutted. I emailed the next day and asked what had happened and where the invoice copy was that I had asked for spelling out how I had calculated the price. I received an email back "Hay am sorry that the cupcakes didn't make it the delivery guy forgot to take them with him would you liked them to be delivered today? also our delivery fee has gone up to $15 we are still in the progress of getting our menu up to date". I made them deliver them a day late for no extra cost but it has left a very sour taste in my mouth and will not be using them again nor...

WONDERFUL company! Found them on the internet as I needed to send my daughter (hungry Otago student - 23 tomorrow!) a cake as we (her doting family) can't be there to share one with her... We recently got married in Dunedin on April 2019. We stumbled upon the Dessert Room through word of mouth from family members.

We were able to provide an idea of what we wanted our cake to look like, three tiered, three flavors, white icing and gold ribbon.

The Dessert Room exceeded all our expectations. They took the time to ensure they got all the details right, embellished it with our flower theme and ensured a timely delivery.

Many of guests went back for seconds and thirds because they were so impressed with how delicious the cake was (chocolate, vanilla and carrot).
