Waterloo Hotel — Restaurant in Otago

I should have wrote my review 5 years ago when it happened. I visited one afternoon. Left my lovely scarf behind I wore that I'd just bought home from the Gold coast. I rang and a lovely staff member said yes it's behind the bar. Went to get it the next day but it was gone. So thank you very much to the staff member who stole it. What else have you stolen? Meals were average. Booked there on a rugby at the stadium night because restaurant is separate from Bar so we didnt expect to be forced to listen to the rugby however to our surprise just moments before kick off Wall mounted tv was on rugby channel and the volumn was turned up! Welcoming friendly service. Delicious food at a reasonable price. Delectable dessert. This one is the Pavlova Clean and comfortable.

Update 12/5/22 had a roast pork main and went for the pavlova desert again. Very disappointed only one scoop of sorbet, no brandy snap looked messy also. Wish I'd thought to take a pic. Going downhill...
