Ordered the dumplings, received 6 dumplings with cases the width of a palm, but filling at most the size of a finger nail. Mostly air. When we questioned them, the first server laughed and asked the chef to deal with it. The chef got mad at us for asking, saying sometimes mistakes were made. We explain ALL of the dumplings were the same. She said they had run out of meat. But were still selling them. She them told us she was too busy to deal with us. We’ve watched them sell another 6 plates of dumplings to other customers since she told us they’d run out of meat… everyone is looking at them with the same confusion we did!

Cannot recommend enough. The food is amazing & the size of the portion is perfect. The coffee is also really good! The cafe itself is easy to find and to access with lots of parking options. The team is absolutely lovely - we had such a great time. Thank you so much.

A very cute little cafe tucked away off the main street. The staff were lovely and the food was reasonably priced as well as tasted delicious. The portions, apart from the dumplings, were quite generous, too. Good coffee and the outdoor seating was pleasant.

We are visiting from the UK and stopped here for lunch on Sunday. The staff were all lovely, so friendly and helpful. We had the fried dumplings to share for starters, an eggs Benedict and a beef cashew stir fry. They asked how hot the stir fry should be and delivered perfectly. The eggs Benedict is a favourite of mine and I've had 3 so far in NZ this trip and this is by far the best. Perfectly poached eggs and everything else in just the right quantities. Without doubt a place to revisit if we were in the area longer. Thank you all very much for such a lovely...

The food and service here is really really good. My only complaint is that they put the place 3 hours drive from my house. This is most inconvenient for me and my partner. Due to the distance we can only eat there occasionally. If I lived in the same town we would be there all the time. Everything that I have tried on their menu was delicious (the dumpling soup is to die for), well portioned and a good price. Thank you and keep up...
