What's in a name? In this case, pretty much everything. Delish totally represents the food here. Over a few separate occasions we only had great food and excellent service too. The only thing to ruin a great food place for me is poor coffee but I'm happy to say it us some of the best I have had in the country equalled wiyh friendly sevice. Delish also show a real commitment to sustainable practise and our environment by providing ceramic cups for your drinks that can be exchanged elsewhere and reused. Worth the 5...

Del-ish Cafe in Takaka has a lovely, authentic local vibe that makes you feel instantly welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. While I only tried the coffee, which was decent (7/10), the food menu looked quite enticing with a good variety of options. The cafe itself has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We had a totally scrumptious brunch here yesterday. Sure lives up to it's name. All the staff and customers were all really lovely too. I had a delicious ham quiche, hubby had a yummy steak and cheese pie. Couple of shared slices. Drinks, plus a takeaway sausage roll (emergency rations!)
