Dear Owner
I am replying to you again about the comment you left on Google.
You seem to be making a big mistake. Google Reviews is a space for customers to share their feelings and experiences about the store. The owner asked the customer to delete the review after leaving a review about what the customer experienced! It only appears as an act of trying to hide what happened.
I hope you become an owner who accepts customer reviews for the development of the store.
And I didn't write a lie about something that didn't happen.
And you're getting it wrong. I've never heard of any additional explanations for omelets. When I paid the full price, you or your staff, nobody didn't say anything.
Your staff told me the price of the omelette because after looking at the receipt they noticed that the price paid was different and went back to the counter to ask about the price charged.
If I hadn't checked the receipt and came home, I wouldn't have known forever. When did you guys tell me that the omelette I ordered was a special order? ——————————————————————————— Be careful when looking at the menu and ordering! There are additional hidden prices. The staff never explain it to the customer about it. After you finish eating, you only unconditionally charge the price. Please keep this in mind when ordering from the menu.
It is a very crafty menu board!! :(
I ordered the omelette after seeing the price on the menu. At that time, I ordered while pointing my finger at the menu. The staff took my order without any further explanation. The price shown on the menu was $11. After I finished the omelette I ordered, when I pay later, they said it was $23.
I asked why the prices were different. They explained to me that $11 is the kids size (half size) price, and the one I ate was full size (adult size) so I had to pay $23.
So I asked where the $23 price was on the menu, and they answered, the $23 omelette isn't on the menu.
Then when I asked why they didn't explain the different prices when I ordered, they didn't give a clear answer.
They told me to pay 23 bucks unconditionally. As for the shop menu prices, it's a messed up service.
However, the staff who served me were friendly and gave me a piece of brownie saying was sorry.
But I didn't complain to get a brownie. Please indicate clear prices on...
Read moreUsed to come here all the time, went back for an old neighborhood fave only to walk away sorely disappointed. Wish we had taken our business elsewhere and won't be returning.
Staff need more training both kitchen and front of house.
Coffees, decided to upcharge us for extra shorts, no clarification about what their standard was. We got 1 veg breakfast and 1 big breakfast. The hash brown was any old bulk brought one that was soggy, the baked beans were the watties tinned ones. The relish was very sugary and way to sweet. Taste very cheap and was smeared all over the plate which meant it got on most of the food. both sausages from the breakfasts were missing. We had to ask the wait staff where they were. We then had to follow up with wait staff about if the sausages were coming or what the deal was. When we got the sausages the meat and veg one were served on the same plate right next to each other, so if you have a dietary requirement or allergy I'd highly reccomend avoiding this place as the safe simply don't care. By the time the sausages arrived the good was luke warm at best. The beans were so cold and basically inedible. We were asked if we wanted butter for our toast when it should just be included. When paying $30, $27 respectably you'd think it would have been included.
At the end of the meal. When the FOH asked how everything was, I made comment that it wasn't very good and we were disappointed as it used to be great.
She just "Oh I'm sorry" and didn't ask any follow up questions to clarify about our experience. This shows us that they probably don't care all that much and aren't interested in improving. Such a shame because we used to love this place.
We ended up eating everything because we were STARVING and didn't have the time or energy to go elsewhere.
It seems a lot of the locals will be thinking the same because this place used to be PACKED on the weekend and was now maybe 1/2 full, if that.
Or visit was 24/05 and we...
Read moreWe’ve been coming here for a long time on most weekends and we really enjoy ourselves. However, over the last few weeks we have noticed a shift in atmosphere which we believe is due to one individual who we’ve not seen before but seems to just stand and observe, a new owner maybe? On a few occasions we’ve seen larger groups being seated by him who have ordered way after us and others but receive their food first? My sister also regularly eats here and has agreed with this. Last weekend was a standout for us as we can see the hard work that the girls (who are always outstanding) were putting in to serve everyone on a very busy day. But it was so obvious that he was not interested in helping anyone except his own table, even going behind the counter grabbing food for himself and ignoring other customers, this behaviour does not reflect good on him as the business owner (if this is the owner) and is something we’ve never experienced in our time coming here. I’m not usually someone who writes reviews but it makes me feel uncomfortable just watching this behaviour, i can’t imagine how the staff must feel. It is such a shame to see how the staff are being treated and we’re afraid if it carries on this way then we will have to find a new favourite spot for brunch. I hope the ‘owner’ sees this and considers making a change. The 2 stars is for the service from the girls and for the food which is...
