The Coffee Club Pinehill Central — Restaurant in Upper Harbour

I visited the store with my parents and my wife for a celebratory lunch. We arrived at approximately 1:45 PM, only to be greeted by a mess. Nearly every table was filthy — covered in crumbs, leftover food, and piles of dirty dishes. We couldn’t find a clean table, so I ended up having to clear and wipe one myself just so we could sit down. This was unacceptable from the outset.

I placed an order for 2 small flat whites, 1 mango smoothie, and 1 Biscoff milkshake. We waited for 25 minutes with no sign of our drinks. When I approached the counter to ask about the delay, it became clear they had completely forgotten our order. No apology, just a vague promise that they’d make it now.

After another 10 minutes, I saw our drinks sitting on the counter, ready — but nobody bothered to bring them to us. They just sat there for another five minutes before a staff member finally served them — again, with zero acknowledgment, no “thank you,” no “sorry for the wait,” nothing.

And then came the drinks. The flat white was barely warm and tasted like watered-down milk with the faintest hint of coffee. It was weak and bland — not even close to what a flat white should be. The Biscoff milkshake was even worse: watery, flavorless, and completely lacking the richness or texture of a proper milkshake. It felt like someone deliberately skimped on the ingredients. I genuinely couldn’t believe what I was served.

I brought the milkshake back to the counter and politely told the staff, “This is not a milkshake — it’s way too watery.” The Indian woman behind the coffee machine sneered at me and snapped, “It’s not a thick shake.” Excuse me? I know the difference between a milkshake and a thick shake — and even McDonald’s serves better milkshakes than this. Her attitude was appalling.

They offered to remake the drink, which I accepted, hoping for something better. But again — when the new shake was brought over, there was no apology, no courtesy, no basic customer service. And to top it off, the second shake was even worse than the first.

I cannot overstate how disappointing and frustrating this entire experience was. The service was careless, the staff were rude, the café was filthy, and the quality of the drinks was shockingly poor. This was a Mother’s Day treat for my family — and instead, it turned into a regrettable experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

At this point, I will seriously reconsider ever stepping foot into another Coffee Club...

I order a large cappuccino for take away this morning and it was the worst cappuccino I've ever had, at first I thought gosh my cup feels light, but proceeded to my car with baby and groceries in hand, as I got onto the motor way I had my first sip of my not so hot cappuccino which tasted like something wasn't right, very watered coffee, I was wondering if there was even milk in it as I could see very air rated foam but not the thick velvet looking kind I'd normally see, anyway I had another 2 sips to see what was going on with this drink and every sip was disgusting, I was rather mad at the quality of this drink from this branch as I'm a regular customer at the coffee club, this is the 1st time buying from this branch at pinehill center, I won't be ordering from there again, I wasted my money on a drink that wasn't even half decent, I didn't take it back as I hadn't had my morning coffee and and my mood let's just say, I wouldn't have been pleasant...

I absolutely love Coffee Club Pine Hill! The coffee is consistently delicious—rich, smooth, and always made just right. Their baristas clearly know what they’re doing!

The food menu is fantastic too, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. Whether it’s a quick breakfast, a hearty lunch, or just a sweet treat with my latte, everything is top quality. The TCC Big breakfastare personal favorite!

What really sets this place apart is the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, get some work done, or just relax with a great cup of coffee. The service is always warm and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable.

Highly recommend Coffee Club Pine Hill—definitely one of the best cafes around! Can’t wait to...
