Bev's Delight — Restaurant in Waikato

We were googling best cafes on our way home to Auckland along StateHighway 1. This popped up and sounded like a bit of us. If you want delicious home cooked food, with everything freshly made in house look no further than Bev’s. Busy with locals popping in and out (always a great sign), fantastic service and food that tasted like someone who loves you has cooked it. Highly recommend the bacon and cheese rolls and the hot beef rolls with home made gravy. Great thickshakes too. Everything looked so delicious we grabbed some yummy sandwiches for the road. They’ll make whatever sandwich filling you like! Better than subway any day...

Was walking through putaruru not hungry at all... Bevs delights caught my eye so I thought I'd have a quick peek in. 2 roast beef rolls and a steak and cheese pie later I am totally stuffed. What a wonderfully delicious roll that was, a soft fluffy bread roll with layers of roast beef fresh lettuce, tomato and onion smothered in gravy with gooey cheese. The pie was absolutely comforting. I found a gem of an eatery today. Well done Bevs Delights. Will try some homemade baking the next...

Usually sceptical to buy pies from random little shops but the cashier assured that their pies are very delicious and that’s exactly what we had, DELICIOUS pies! I was so stoked with my chicken and mushroom pie- there heaps of filling! And it tasted SO good! We also bought 2 slices, and equally as yum! So yum in fact I’ve already told several of my friends who often travel through Putaruru to make Bev’s delights their new favourite stop! So happy to have find this...
