We recently stopped by Hahei Eatery & Ice Cream and were pleasantly surprised by their diverse offerings. We decided to try their Fish and Chips, Açai Ice Cream, and the Cookie and Ice Cream combo.

Fish and Chips The fish was perfectly cooked—light, flaky, and surrounded by a crisp golden batter that wasn't too greasy. The chips were thick-cut and well-seasoned, with a nice balance of crunch and fluffiness inside. It was a satisfying, classic meal done just right.

Açai Ice Cream For a refreshing treat, the Açai Ice Cream hit the spot. It was smooth, tangy, and packed with flavor, ideal for those looking for a healthier dessert option. The fruitiness felt authentic, making it a refreshing and guilt-free choice.

Cookie and Ice Cream Combo The Cookie and Ice Cream combo was indulgent. The cookie was warm, chewy, and had just the right amount of sweetness, pairing perfectly with the creamy, rich ice cream. It's a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.

We ate multiple meals here during our 24h stay at Hahei. Our first evening we came right at closing without realizing, and the staff were extra kind to turn the ovens back on and cook us a delicious veggie pizza. We also sampled their smoothies, fish n chips, and beef burger! Though there are not a ton of eating out options in Hahei, this place is not complacent and definitely serves quality food. It should be noted their pizza dough is hand stretched and proved over the course of 24h. All their meat is free range, and their fish is brought in fresh daily as well....

Had a wonderful experience trying my first Kiwi Burger. The burger was fresh, flavorful and a little messy. I typically do not like burgers but, I loved every thing on this burger. BBQ, fried egg, pineapple, beets, a beef burger and a fresh bun. 😋

My two friends had the salmon salad and fish&chip's. We left nothing for the seagulls lurking near by to taste. Even went back for some ice cream after. Wish we could have tried some of the other flavors like :orange chocolate, raspberry plus marshmallow and hokey pocky.
