I recently dined at Koi and was blown away by the incredible flavors of their curries and naan bread. I have to say, it was the best Indian/Malaysian cuisine I have ever had! The dishes were bursting with a perfect blend of spices that tantalized my taste buds and left me wanting more.
The curries were rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Each dish had its unique flavor profile that complemented the perfectly cooked meats and vegetables. I particularly loved the chicken curry, which had a perfect balance of heat and sweetness. The lamb curry was also fantastic, with tender chunks of meat in a delicious, aromatic sauce.
The naan bread was an absolute delight, freshly baked and perfectly fluffy. The garlic naan was my favorite, with a fragrant aroma and a crispy, buttery texture. It was the perfect accompaniment to the curries, and I found myself dipping it into the sauce to savor every last bit.
Overall, I would highly recommend Koi to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable Indian/Malaysian dining experience. The curries and naan bread were exceptional, and the service...
Read moreWas really a bit disappointed with Koi as some of the reviews I had seen were 5 stars. I emailed to make a booking and it was a day before I got a response. By this time I had booked online for an earlier time than we wanted however I did get an email back that just said ‘booking confirmed’. Replied that we had booked online and didn’t get a response. The location and atmosphere was good, the service was tardy. Waited a fair while for our drinks - cocktails were good but the beer could have been colder. The menu looks fantastic and food was presented well but overall lacked the depth of flavour we were expecting. Had to ask them for another round of drinks and got told to go to the bar. Someone then did come and take our drinks order. Took them awhile to clean up after eating too. They were busy but not that busy. Overall, we wouldn’t rush back anytime soon which is a shame because it could be a really...
Read moreCame here for a birthday dinner just over a week ago. Service from the 2 ladies that served us was good. The male waiter that delivered our food paid no mind to who's dishes were who's and placed the dishes down anywhere after mumbling what the food was, leaving us to try and figure it out. Also a few rices were placed down kind of in front of people so we weren't sure if we were waiting for more rice or it was meant to share? The decor is stunning and the seats very comfortable. The bar has a large amount of whiskeys available. Prices were okay but to be honest you could go to a locally owned Indian or Malay shop and get much more flavourful food, a few from our table ordered medium or hot and didn't get any spice at all. I was underwhelmed by everything and personally wouldn't go back but it seems many people enjoy it so I guess...
