Lemongrass Thai Cuisine Te Awamutu — Restaurant in Waikato

I recently visited a Thai cuisine , and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The ambiance of the restaurant initially seemed inviting, but this was quickly overshadowed by the poor service and unpleasant dining experience. Firstly, the staff appeared disinterested and unprofessional. It took an inordinate amount of time to be seated, and our server was inattentive and seemed annoyed by our presence. There was a noticeable lack of warmth or hospitality, which one would typically expect in a dining establishment. The food itself was a major disappointment. The dishes, which were supposed to be vibrant and flavorful, were bland and unappetizing. The ingredients didn't seem fresh, and the presentation was lackluster. It was a poor representation of Thai cuisine, lacking the balance of flavors that is its hallmark. Moreover, the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. The tableware was not properly cleaned, and the overall hygiene standards seemed to be compromised, which is unacceptable in any food service establishment. In conclusion, this Thai cuisine was a letdown with its subpar service, unimpressive food, and questionable cleanliness. It failed to deliver the enjoyable dining experience one would expect, and I would not recommend...

The experience was one of the strangers' dining experiences I have ever heart. We took a long a bottle of wine in a wine bottle which had the alcohol removed but it was produced by a wine company. The waitress refused to let it drink it saying it was BYO wine only. When I pointed it out it even said on the bottle that it was wine I was still told we were not allowed to drink it because the alcohol had been removed. We have just paid $12 for it in a liquor store but maybe this restaurant has not heard of the effort that people are making to not drink and drive because at every of the table people were drinking wine they have brought in with them which was different to ours. because it's still have alcohol in it I saw no sense whatsoever in this...

First and last visit for us. Very disappointed in the food. This evening decided to take my wife out for dinner on her birthday. We settled on this restaurant as we love Thai food. On arrival there were no others. We ordered 1x sweet & sour chicken and 1x green Thai curry with veggies $19 and $20 +. Food served excluded rice that came with an extra charge. Food was tasless, watery and not even close to the crispy freshness and well known Thai cousine. I advised the reseptionist of our disappointment in the quality of the two dishes.
