We attended your restaurant on the 25th of August at approximately 6.30 pm to celebrate our grandparents 80th birthday.
The food was tasty. Appetisers and mains came out at appropriate times. Our leftover food was kindly packaged up for us into several different containers and the attendant was polite and friendly when handing over to us. Unfortunately the rest of the service we received was not up to the same standard as the food. The service was blunt and unprofessional.
The bartender spoke rudely to several members of our group including our 80 year old grandma when she was paying for the bill. She yelled at other attendants in front of customers. She also complained about customers including us whilst we were still there. I would expect better service from someone who is the face of your restaurant. We also waited an expceptionally long time (45 mins ) for 3 ice cream sundaes. Half of our party had to leave and we were the last ones left in the restaurant. It was uncomfortable. What was even more uncomfortable is that she received a massage from another team member at the bar in front of us.
We understand the pressures of having two large groups at your restaurant. We were more than willing to accomodate unfortunately your staff weren’t. We booked well in advance and gave plenty of notice to prepare. Do not book customers in if you cannot provide quality service.
Having worked in similar hospitality backgrounds, we understand that friendliness and helpfulness is the key to giving great customer service. A couple of your staff members are letting your team down. Especially disappointing to see the older staff setting this example.

Read morethe things we ordered were the orange beef, the honey pork fillet, the chicken with seasonal vegetables and cashews, and the combination fried rice.
The honey pork fillet. well, for starters, it wasn't a pork fillet. What we recieved was crumbled pork snitzle (from the looks and taste, commercial crumb at that) with a honey ish clear slightly gelatinous sauce.
The orange beef. The taste was pleasant, not too sweet. However, the meal came out to us mildly warm. Not hot, warm.
The Combination rice was nice, but rather sparse.
As for the chicken with seasonal vegetables. It seemed to have a sauce that resembled snot. Lumps of collagulaged corn flour. Which was rather off putting for our group of three.
however, the young waitressing staff were fantastic.
all in all, if you're looking for a mediocre chinese food experience, then by all means come here.
if you're looking for really good chinese food, I highly recommend kuen loong on the main highway. It's cheaper and overall...
Read moreWont bother with this place again. We've been here 3 times now. Last night we decided to risk it on the off-chance it might have improved. It's supposed to be fine dining but it's a fairly ordinary Chinese restaurant. The phone rings and gets answered at the counter/bar and everyone can hear half the conversation. About half the wine list was crossed off. A waitress with a casual attitude leaned over the back of a spare chair to take our orders. I ordered a whiskey and said, "No ice. Just by itself please" From behind the bar she then asked if I wanted water with it. Really? That's not "by itself". Our meals weren't served to us, they were placed on empty space on the table. They young guy serving didn't look very interested, was ill-mannered enough to be wearing a cap inside and not bright enough to wear it the right way around. And if you have food that needs cutting expect to have to ask...
