Johnsonville Club Inc — Restaurant in Wellington

Went to the Johnsonville club today with the intention of playing pool and with the hopes of joining the club if the tables were quality. I approached the bar and asked if we were able to use the pool tables or have a look around. The woman behind the bar asked “if we were members”, to which I replied, “no”. She informed me that as I was not a member I was not allowed. She then stood there in silence with an air of superiority and no offer of possible membership or any other options. After the extended silence I informed her “I had viewed on the website that visitors were welcome and provisional memberships were possible prior to committing to a full membership. I was met with a smirk, more silence and again no information. Had she informed me of the membership requirements I would have joined then and there instead I was left feeling “not good enough” for the johnsonville club.
