BurgerFuel Johnsonville — Restaurant in North Island

This may seem trivial but it's irritating. I normally buy in store or other BF stores but tonight I ordered a johnny hash online. I have an AA card & you can have a free shake if you show your card. I've only used my AA card once before for a shake & I was looking forward to the treat tonight as I'd been working since 7am & was needing a treat. I wasn't aware that you couldn't have a free shake unless you buy a premium burger in store. I didn't bring my EFTPOS card or cash so I couldn't buy one. So, because I ordered the burger on line the server said that I would need to buy another burger to have a free shake. And it's true - it's not explicitly stated on the AA website as such but it states that you need to buy the burger in the physical store in order to receive the shake. So as silly as it is, that's the regulation. What I don't understand is why he couldn't just do it as a gesture of goodwill. Kind of amusing but it's absurd. The burger wasn't very good either. Christmas Eve store hours were not properly displayed, either physically or online. Walked into store at 8:05, was told that it was online orders only, so I jumped online and the website allowed me to place and pay for my order with no issue. I then received a call from a random number advising the store was closed and they couldn’t make my order. I was advised a refund would be the best they could offer me and that this would be sent either Tuesday or Wednesday, so I asked for written proof of this either via email or text to confirm that I would receive my refund. I was told that the store manger would send me something, but have yet to receive anything in written form. Very disappointing as money has been tight for Christmas and was looking forward to treating ourselves this evening. If store hours change for holidays, this should be clearly marked to prevent inconveniences like this...

A BIG PIECE OF BROCKEN GLASS IN MY BURGER!!

I was so hungry and had a crave for a burger so I went to this place. It wasn't look clean and windows, floor and everything else looked very dingy and gross. I ordered anyway because I was hungry and was comming back from work. With the second bite a 2 cm brocken glass came to my mouth!!!!! How horrible!!! What if it cut my tongue!!!

I immediately went to them and they were so surprised and apologetic and gave my money back but this does not change the fact that burger fuel is not at all trustable, hygiene and careful of what to put on people's table!!!!
