Loosies Superette — Restaurant in Wellington

Excitement fueled my visit to this recently opened establishment. Arriving before 9, the abundance of seating options set a promising tone.

Initial confusion regarding table service versus ordering at the bar was swiftly addressed by a waiter who promptly joined us and even offered a complimentary glass of wine as a gesture of apology—a delightful surprise.

The undisputed highlight was the ATOMIC CHEESEBURGER, standing out as my current favorite in Wellington. Despite extensive cheeseburger sampling, this one reigns supreme, and I'm still on the lookout for a worthy challenger.

Opting for the HOT SCHNITT, the portion size impressed, but its impact was forgettable. Nevertheless, it's a satisfactory choice for those with hearty appetites.

Venturing into unconventional territory, I took a leap of faith with the SUPERETTE NEGRONI SOUR. Unfortunately, it skewed more sweet than sour, with an overpowering Campari presence overshadowing the gin, leaving the cocktail unbalanced.

The amiable staff added to the evening's enjoyment, engaging in the fun atmosphere.

A minor setback was the early closing time at 10 pm, contrary to the online claim of midnight. This curtailed our exploration of the downstairs space, equipped with pool tables and another bar—a regrettable missed...

This is the spot of you're looking for something different, hip-hop heads look no further. You got the coolest music in Wellington right here! When you walk in you think it's just another American looking dinner. But then you relise the music sounds different and there's a random set of stairs, well down those set of stairs is a low-key bar, pool tables, and some tables for you too dine 😉 also some cool neon signs. The cocktails are great and the food is great the music is good too. Ticks all my boxes and will be my new local every time I'm in town.come...

Had a dinner and drinks with friends here a couple of weeks ago and one of the main staff there is rude. Felt like she wanted us to leave the diner already when we still haven't finished our food yet, they even took our water glasses and asked us if we want to just take away our food. So rude!
