Noodle Canteen — Restaurant in Wellington

Be warned!! If you are Vegetarian or have any Shellfish Allergies you should know........ They use the same pair of tongs for the chicken, the beef, the prawns/shrimp and the veggies!!! I was shocked to watch the staff pickup the veggies then the chicken, beef and prawns. Then go back and start loading the next bowl with the same tongs! That kind of cross contamination (shellfish allergies) can cause someone to get seriously sick or even die! I watched them put only 1 piece of broccoli and only 1 piece of cauliflower in each meal, what a joke! The meals are 80% noodles with hardly anything else. One star because the...

The lady taking my order didnt communicate very well because of her poor english. The environment was very noisy, 2 staff members were yelling at the cooks and everyone was rushing doing their jobs. As I sat back and waited for my food other customers were struggling to communicate to the lady taking orders. When we ate our food at home the pork was tough to eat and their was too much aweet and sour sauce. The rice was burnt and we had 8 pieces of small chicken and loads of vegetables. Poor service, yuck food... Never going back there again...
