Rather disappointing this time round. The quality of the meals we ordered was up there with what you’d get from Denny’s - highly over priced if ordering small dishes. A colleague from work had ordered a beef noodle with Satay sauce for lunch (takeaway) for $13 and it was delicious and the portion size was enough to feed at least 2-3, however ordering it for dinner at $19 again for a small dish, it was nothing compared to what the lunch order. What came out was less than half the size of the lunch container and to top it off, it was a tasteless dish - not what I had tasted from my colleagues lunch. As for dessert ☹️ Very very disappointing, definitely go to Denny’s for dessert. The creme burlee was questionable, one spoonful into it and straight away I knew it wasn’t creme burlee, the fried ice cream was an overkill & the cake was meh - 3 wasted desserts hardly touched left on the table. Denny’s pancakes would have topped of this epic fail of dinner had we not taken a risk with ordering from Top Taste. I guess the staff also noticed we didn’t enjoy our meals as when we went to pay, she didn’t ask whether we enjoyed our meals 🤨🤨 Overall the one dish that I’d have to say that topped all of the dishes we ordered was the garlic bread -...
Read moreIf there was a minus star, that's what your restaurant deserves. The food was ok except the garlic bread tasted weird. I get tastier garlic bread from Pizza hut or Dominoes. We were served by a while skinny male waiter with a terrible attitude. First there were lots of empty tables so that says a lot for a 'Saturday night. We get there and we were made to wait in reception. I couldn't wait yet that waiter took his time cleaning the table we were heading to our table. That waiter said he hasn't finished cleaning the table. Really!!! Takes him 5 min to clean a table. He hands us the menu when we in the reception area when hello that should be him taking us to our table and handing us the menu. Then after our main we were made to wait felt like half an hour but we waited 20 min for our dessert. Was only me and my son as diners yet no waiter, waiting, waiting. Then a kind, smiley Chinese girl serves us. I go pay our bill over $180 which is a lot of money to most people and hello he is standing there with his headphones on. No smile, he then slams our receipt down. I was going to say to him, "bloody rude service and we were going to choose Indian tonight,...
Read moreTerribly expensive for an average food. When placing our order, we asked the waitstaff whether four dishes would be enough for three people. His initial response was sarcastic and tinged with annoyance, though he quickly changed his tone when he sensed our reaction, assuring us it would be more than enough.
When the food finally arrived, the portions were disappointingly small. At $31 per dish, one would expect at least moderate servings. The prawn dish, in particular, consisted of only six tiny prawns, and the fried rice, also $31 was barely enough for one person. Because the food took so long to arrive, we eventually left to eat elsewhere.
Overall, the experience felt overpriced, underwhelming, and poorly managed. The portions were meager, the service unprofessional, and the value nonexistent. I would not recommend this restaurant, the pricing is too much. Charging $31 for a small bowl of fried rice with few meats feels...
