Raumati Fish Supply — Restaurant in Wellington

I placed a phone order under my name. When I arrived I noticed the assistant place an order on a side counter without announcing who the order was for. I quietly waited for several minutes for my order to appear and then wondered if the order sitting getting cold and soggy next to the counter was mine. Unfortunately it was. I wasn't thrilled that it had just been sitting there and explained they should have announced who the order was for and I would have immediately claimed it. The owner (and possibly new owner?) seemed to take exception and told me it was my responsibility to announce that I had arrived ! And yet they announced all other orders ........ as fish and chip shops do....just not mine. She does not seem to be aware of the concept "the customer is always right" A simply apology about the confusion and the fact my meal was sitting there going cold would have gone a long way but was not forthcoming. They might be able to cook fish and chips but have big lessons to learn in customer relations which...

The boba tea they make there is SO DELICIOUS AND AMAZING I had to try everyone of the drinks they had and OMG it was worth it. Also the rest of their food is very nice, not too greasy or the opposite of greasy and it is very crispy. The number 13 boba taro drink is the best on their menu in my honest opinion (my opinion is the best and most trustworthy). But also try their burgers too, lots of variety and can add extra lettuce if you want. They answer the phone very fast and are very nice to talk to sometimes. Very fast food and on time, I have never had any problems with Raumati Fish Supply. It is the best fish and chip shop to go to if you want a good meal,...

So, the first time we came here we placed our order and settled in to wait. Another customer comes in, a kiwi guy but dressed kind of like a cowboy. He starts talking to the young lady behind the counter - says he hasn't been here in a couple of years 'cos he lives in L.A. Turns out he'd driven here directly from the airport after getting a flight in from the States to visit family, and these fish and chips couldn't wait. We soon found out why... this place is amazing.
