Hands down the best Chinese Takeaway in Auckland.

My family has been going to this place for our Chinese takeaways for nearly 20 years and they have never let us down. Seriously. Each and every time the food is just as amazing as the previous time and it's always loaded to the brim.

We have tried numerous other places but no one can come close to Golden Town, they are the kings.

Every dish we get tastes great and there is so much of it, we always have leftovers for the next day. If you don't believe me then just try their sweet n sour pork, you'll be hooked for life.

Since it's located on the side of the road, parking is usually tight but it's worth the hassle as the food is just that good.

Don't do a phone order with these guys. It's happened twice for me, when I ordered by phone, turned up just over 15mins later, and they haven't started making the food. Superb place for eating takeaways (fish n chups hotdogs burgers etc), but not just takeaways. The Chinese takeaways are also super good (I'm Chinese). Try fried noodles and other things - the dishes usually provides loads of main food (e.g. noodle, rice), plus meats plus veges. Very good price for lots of food. Clean visible kitchen.
