Crema Batida — Restaurant in Managua

Honestly, I wanted this place to be amazing. I heard so many great things about it…HOWEVER, it was everything but…

I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity in my life to eat from the fanciest places to street food places in Europe, North America, Asia & South America for lever 15 years, and I guarantee this was absolutely the 2nd worse on my list (it beats the first one on my “worst restaurant ever” list only based on the fact that the number one had a shooting happen there, otherwise this restaurant one would be the first).

I want to be just, therefore the pro is that the place is well designed - I love the “van seats” they have and the color is elegant, the place is spotless and clean. The milkshake is delicious as well…and that’s the end of the positive….

The negative started the moment we arrived when our waitress didn’t care to introduce herself, or even crack a smile, or at least say “welcome”, it felt like we were bothering her, we apologize our business were infringing on her day…

Then we ordered 2 club sandwiches and 1 Pasta for my kid, well the club sandwiches came out first after waiting over 30 mins, and my 7 year old child had to wait an additional 20 mins (50mins total for him) - it seems that they don’t like people eating together….The sandwiches were absolutely terrible in flavor, felt mushy and the vegetables had a rotten taste (to the point my stomach is hurting as I write this about 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant). I left a bunch of food - something I never do - and packed it up to give it to someone who was hungry. You know you are in trouble when even the French fries don’t taste good AT ALL.

We tried canceling the pasta but it had been finished and you can tell it had been sitting out for a while as it wasn’t warm. Luckily my kid eats anything so for him it was fine. But how terrible is it that you go out to eat together with your family and you can’t eat at the same time? I feel that’s Food Management 101.

Would I give this place another chance? I have a feeling I won’t, unless they do a 180 degree turn and immediately improve everything mentioned. Again, I really wanted this place to be amazing and my hopes were high based on previous reviews but overall it was an extreme disappointment.

P.S: I added my receipt to prove we went and that we paid for everything just in case anyone doubts our experience or feels we are being...

Ordered a club sandwich and a grilled veggie panini. Club sandwich was nice, delicious. Instead of veggie panini I got a veggie club sandwich, asked for a change, and after another 20 minutes I got a veggie panini, that does not deserve the name at all. Zero taste, only two veggies (carrot and pipian), and not even grilled, but only cooked. When I told them that this is not the right way, the supervisor refused to speak with me, but asked the waitor to offer me to scratch of the veggies and prepare them how I would like them. After insisting, the supervisor came for a quick talk and offered the same solution. I said no thank you, and left without a proper lunch. Definitely...

When me and my family arrive at the Restaurant, nobody greeted us, we sat on the table that was dirty, no waiter came around not until we call someone and that was about 5 minutes after we arrived at the place. The food quality still very poor. I order a cheeseburger and the bum was old and cold, waiters don't ask you how you want to have the meat cook. And once they bring you the food, nobody comes around to check if you need anything. They don't know how to train their personal. No greeting whatsoever, nobody welcomes you at all.
