Restaurante Cajun Shrimp & Beer — Restaurant in Managua

We dined at the restaurant located in the Galerías Santo Domingo. From the outside, the windows are etched in a New Orleans motif of Jazz men playing their instruments in a club. The interior is bright and cheery with very attentive staff! The menu is a shrimp and seafood lovers delight and will involve multiple visits to try their assortment of food items. Upon being seated, we were told of their 3x2 Margarita promotion. The Margarita's were what was needed after enduring the outdoor heat! As we knew we would be coming back, we tried an assortment from thier menu starting with the Shrimp & Calamari Appretizers! Excellent! We ordered po boy sandwich, quesadilla and tacos. All were shrimp. Food is reasonably priced and well made. Well seasoned and not over cooked, which is very common with shrimp. Many shrimp have been sacrificed for the satisfaction of my hunger so I am very particular about that. Service was good. Will definitely visit again. I have a small complaint, the po boy sandwich was great except the way the bread was layed out it was very difficult to eat. Quite messy. I had the Jambalaya and a Suspiro Limeño while enjoying the jazzy and blues ambience. This place definitely worth checking out if you are planning to have a good conversation along with good food.
