Nicaragua has a HUGE problem when it comes to sports bars, there's hundreds of them, yet none broadcast games outside of soccer (seems like soccer is the only priority sport where audio is always available in EVERY bar). Being a huge NFL fan, and with the 2019 season underway this past Sunday, I figured Hooters would be my best bet to watch games - I was wrong and profoundly disappointed. They didn't put the game I wanted, nor the game other fans wanted. I don't understand how a place can have hundreds of tv screens yet only play one game. I though Hooters was a legit franchise that caters to sport fans but I guess I was wrong. If you want to watch your NFL games, I recommend you stop going to Hooters (or any so called "sport bar" in Managua) and with the cash you will save get an NFL Pass and watch it from the comfort of your home like I will do...
Read more9/4/17 Came thru again since my hotel is a few blocks away and they have improved everything!! Regina, my bartender (pictured below) not only gave me great service but also made super good suggestions about new things on the menu, about things I might want to try and about some drink specials as well. She also offered the special of the day because it's Labor Day of the United States that if I would order 10 or more wings I will get 10 More Wings for free!!! Pretty good deal, right?
