I had a very good time here guys. Let’s see if I can find the words to explain ☺️ Ambience ✅ ✅ ✅ I felt like I was in Mexico 🤭 and it just made my dine in experience more enjoyable. It had very cute decor, interesting aesthetics and a variety of costumes of which you could take picture with. That was my absolute fave 🤩 Talk about the background music in the right tempo and volume 👌 I liked the fact that they also had a sit out so you could do either in or out!
Service ✅ ✅ ✅ I had this really nice and patient waiter (I’ll def find his name and add to this). When I mean patient, he was. He literally went through all the options with us and proffered expert opinions when needed. The food came earlier than expected, well it wasn’t a packed day so that was a plus.
Food ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ Everything I had was really pleasurable. So I’ve never had actual Mexican dishes before, and I’m usually very picky with what I’d try, but I’d say this was great! The variety of flavours made my tastebuds dance.
The Casa special chips 🤩 with nacho cheese, sour cream, guacamole and ground beef just felt so good. We had to get more chips because they were almost losing their crunch and that was great. My absolute best had to be the chicken burrito and mixed meat fajita. I’ll give it to the cheff because every single meat used in these dishes were so properly spiced, easy to chew and well cooked. The wraps were not so great as they were difficult to use. (However my wrapping game isn’t strong) I had a cocktail too (I think pink lady) and that just went perfectly with the Fajitas (the meat + drink combo 🫠)
Servings/ Portions ✅ ✅ ✅ You might be tempted to over order, I beg you don’t give in because you will carry food home (trust me I know). Ps: Most of the dishes fill you up real good so beware.
I hope you found this helpful so try them out and...
Read moreCasa Mexicana is the place to be. We visited last month when we were in Abuja and to say I was impressed is an understatement, I was blown away. My goodness, from the aesthetics, the vibrant colours, the soft mexican music, the cool atmosphere, to the food was a 10/10.
The waiter knew everything that was on the menu and even knew what paired best with what. He guided us through our choices and we loved it. The complimentary veggies were with a twist which was fun, and when our food came, everything was a delight. It was delicious, fresh, hot, appetising to the eyes and sumptuous to the taste buds. The guacamole sauce and salsa were incredible, and that's saying a lot because I don't normally enjoy them. The rice drinks were fantastic too. Tacos, burrito, quesadillas, tortilla chips, the rice meal, all a hit. I could go on and on about this place and their super delicious meals and exceptional services but a trial will convince you.
It was a satisfying experience and I would be revisiting whenever I am in Abuja. Please keep up the good work. Well done. Portions are great and...
Read moreThe restaurant is GREAT! It’s literally a trip to Mexico - the ambience, the food, the waiter’s uniforms, the Spanish music playing in the background. All these just gives Mexican vibes.
The customer service was bit nonchalant. I was always looking for a waiter. When she was taking my order, I had to remind her about stuff and it just got frustrating.
The food complemented for the poor customer service though. I thought I would hate it but I LOVED IT surprisingly. The Enchiladas, Green Pasta with Chicken and Virgin Margarita was what I ordered. For you guys that hate alcohol PLEASE try the VIRGIN MARGARITA 👌. That Green Pasta was on another level. People that love pasta Alfredo will love this wayyyy more.
The reason I gave four start was the service otherwise, it was a FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE.
I couldn’t capture the entire menu cos it was large but you can see the prices of...
