📍: CACTUS RESTAURANT LAGOS • Quick stop to Lagos and I had the absolute best time on my solo date at @cactuslagos very few restaurants give a wonderful experience like they do & I loved every bit of it. • LOCATION 20/24 Ozumba Mbadiwe Rd, Victoria Island, Lagos. Google maps is accurate. • AMBIENCE Their ambience is definitely top tier, sadly I didn’t get to take pictures because a girl was mad hungry 😂😂 but I’d definitely do so when next I’m in Lagos. They have a pastry corner, restaurant & lounge area and a beautiful outdoor area with a breathtaking and soothing sea view. The view paired with the sea breeze is amaze balls 🥰😍 • SPACE Cactus Lagos has lots of parking space a cool scenery. • SERVICE Service was more than amazing tbh, their staff were so nice and helpful at all times. It felt too good to be true but they had the same energy to everyone who walked in. I was a little skeptical about my order but my server was really nice enough to explain & help me decide. The wait time given for my meal was 20mins and it was ready in less than that, that’s 💯💯 score for me. • FOOD/ORDER My order was ready earlier than the time given (20mins) and I was given some bread rolls and a spread will waiting. As a prawn lover, my heart leaped for joy at the sight of jumbo prawns on the menu 🥺 so I definitely went for that with mashed potatoes, a mojito. Loved the prawns and the meal was a generous portion also. Jumbo prawns Mashed potatoes Mojito TOTAL SPEND - 19,687.50 • REVIEW I’d definitely give them a 10/10 because I enjoyed every bit of their service from warm welcome to amazing food to complimentary snack & extra to go with to beautiful ambience to the chivalrous opening of car doors 🥺 to offering to help me take my photos everything made my day and experience amazing. Cactus 🌵 is an all time favourite, the space is elegant and versatile. Their customer service is also 💯. Now let’s talk about the food; I’ll start with this yummy looking burger and fries, fam the fries went to Harvard. Legit the best fries I’ve had, I kept arguing with my partner in crime that it’s fresh cut potatoes seasoned and fried, not the one we buy at shop rite, it must have been grown in one fine garden like that. It just didn’t taste regular and I loved it, crunchy...The Burger was creamy and light, a ham and bacon burger with poached eggs, but it wasn’t bad at all, way above average. It was very fresh! We also had the lagos passion breakfast, I really like it when restaurants localise some dishes on their menu, it’s not everyday I want to eat continental dishes, the lagos passion was an African breakfast, consisted of plantain (my weakness), bread and onions omelette, served with sausages, stew and beans porridge. The plantain made it guys, it was just right. I have no complains whatsoever on the plantain, ah the chef would make heaven! The sausages and omelette tasted fine too, the only war I have to settle would be the the beans porridge, it was average and I felt they could’ve spiced it up more but who knows they might have been playing it safe on the pepper side, not every Nigerian likes 🌶 like me 😂. Lest I forget, their ice cream is just IT, tastes perfecto 👌 and a scoop just costs N1k!

I love Cactus...the ambience... the options for food, the variety of sitting locations. I love sitting by the water.... On more than one occasion I have visited and the breakfast menu was still available but somehow I am still there when the lunch menu became available so I get to eat twice!!! If you are a Churros fan, you just need to try it out here. I have had just one miss with them.. Their Calzone. It may have been a bad day or maybe I had higher expectations but that is not enough to take away a star. When you are done with food, you can stop for some pastries (not for me) or ice cream!!! Their tiramisu flavour is to die for.... and they have gelato too.. Update as I visited again today... no more Churros😔 I would appreciate guidance on a place I can get Churros from in Lagos.. I tried their chicken escalope .. I opted for rice on the off chance that my kid would prefer it to the chips. No deal. It was actually good but I was way too full to attempt it. Their ice cream options were boring today as well. Hans and Rene remain the champions.. All in all, I still love Cactus 💘 💘

I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant and I must confess, it exceeded all my expectations. The staffs were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service throughout our meal.Every dish we ordered was an absolute delight! The flavors were exceptional, and the presentation was truly impressive. The chef's attention to detail was evident in each bite, leaving us satisfied and eager to try more. What truly stood out to me was the restaurant's commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. It truly made a difference in every dish we tasted and the prices were fairly considerable. The cactus Restaurants offers great value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The combination of outstanding food, impeccable service, and pleasant ambiance truly deserves the highest rating. I can't wait to return and explore more of the good life. It's a must-visit for any food enthusiast.

Cactus is the best restaurant in this Lagos as far as I'm concerned. I had such a beautiful time here. The customer service is top notch. Food was amazing. The ambience and atmosphere is omg!!! So beautiful, cozy... I can go on and on. The ice cream too is amazing. I LOVE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Price of food is reasonable and worth it. Please go to cactus o. Other restaurants need to go and learn from them about customer service. 2022 update Still had an amazing experience. Like what!!! The consistency is phenomenal. The food is awesome 👌. In 2018, we hosted a few people for a breakfast meeting and the manager was kind enough to allow us portion the platter so we don't go overboard with money. In 2022, I had a dinner experience and I had pasta. They served bread to munch on while we waited. The wait time was longer than my previous experience but it was worth it. It also came with complementary ice cream and I haven't been able to stop thinking about the ice cream.

I visited cactus Lagos and was immediately impressed by the exterior, the collection of plants and cactuses outside to fit the name. The restaurant has a desert and ice cream parlour separate drinks the restaurant. The interior design is so modern and quirky with cool art pieces of cactuses on the wall. The menu is very unique and has dishes you’ve definitely never seen before and I love how they’ve made the menu different and interesting. We ordered shrimp and hot wings as starters and they were both delicious. The hot wings were juicy, covered in a Nigerian inspired red sauce with onions. The mains were even better-I ordered jumbo prawns and they came with a side of chips and salad. The portions at cactus are also incredibly generous so you can come and be full after just having a main meal. Staff were very attentive too. Overall it was an incredible meal and I’ll definitely be back!
