We recently treated our girls to a 2-night stay at this hotel before school resumed. We booked a suite, which was beautifully decorated and spacious. The beddings and towels were immaculately clean, and nice art pieces too. My husband and the girls tried the breakfast, which they described as basic on the first morning. However, they were more pleased with the spread on the second day. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a few issues. We didn't have hot water for the entire duration, which was inconvenient. After reporting the issue on the second day, the repair team took almost an hour to diagnose the problem, only to reveal that one of their two water heaters was faulty. I had to request a bucket, scoop, and boiled water by myself in the kitchenette. Other issues we encountered included a non-functional intercom, scrambled TV channels, and a kitchenette that lacked essential items like plates and cutlery, but they kept a bowl and wooden spatulas, hahaha. I also wish they had plants in the room. Despite these challenges, the staff were friendly and apologetic. Overall, we were relieved to check out after our second day. While the hotel showed promise, the numerous issues detracted from our experience.

Had a last minute trip change and was booked here for a night. Walked into an incredibly stuffy lobby and rooms that took almost half an hour to check into. No hot water — called the front desk and was kept waiting for over an hour for feedback on the issue. The particular front desk agent was also not friendly. Would give him a zero rating if possible. The sheets had a damp feel to them. Would have left but unfortunately settled in at close to midnight and would have been a hassle to find another hotel that late. The next morning: requested fresh pineapple juice at the restaurant. Even though pineapples were included in the breakfast covered by my reservation, I was charged 8,000 for the pineapples to be juiced. And the juice wasn’t even properly made — see all the foam at the top. Absolutely do not recommend a stay here. Terrible.

A very conducive and beautiful hotel might not have the nicest views but they have an excellent customer service, the manager is one of the nicest I have met, very down to earth and genuinely concerned about your stay and ever willing to help, dunno if I should mention that a power surge from the hotel damaged my laptop, but a lovely place to stay rooms are big enough and lovely it's serene the food is lovely but expensive. Would have given a 5 star if not for my damaged laptop

wanted something different this weekend than our usual sceenery & locations. grounds are clean. staff is helpful, approachable and knowledable. ALL STAFF DEPARTMENTS SHOWED/ENABLED TEAM WORK accountability-which is rare ESPECIALLY for a chain(that'z evidence of TOP NOTCH professionalism). food was decent, room service is 24 hrs and there's a variety of cultural dishes from all ova the world. pool side is cool, there's also a cabana for those who wish to get cozzzziiieeee. also sitting area just for talking, sceenery, business/whateva. the rooms were decent size for the price and heart of the location. there are many entries within walking distance, local atms/bank branches along side. THEY DO NOT HAVE A ATM on site. above average on fridge in the rooms-you won't disappointed very sheek and above average on television size AND BRAND{trust me on this one, i am a travel nurse i have traveled MUCH}. from my experience all their rooms seem to have a sitting area within it-not usual for most hotels just anotha added benefit when lodgin with victoria crown on victoria lsland in lagos. the tubs are VERY deep-which is romantic and suffice for those looking to add to the moment OR just a great tub bath. BUT not very age friendly though, for the kiddies not safe for the disabled/matured/seniors/elderly a huge precaution/fright. YOU HAVE TO BE VERY CAREFUL when getting out. not even a grab bar is present. all marble and glass. VERY VERY nice restroom and set up though. very update, with crown molding and all its extras. laundry service is great prompt on return and honest. NOT LIKE THE SHEARTON 4 POINT: all MY CLOTH returned bacc to me.......hhhmm. wifi connection wasn't that great. channel selection was fair. there is a bar and restaurant on site as well. my expereince with the gatemen the duration of my stay while going in and out was just as pleasant and professional as well. front desk staff presented very neat in uniform, spoke clearly and each were considered anytime we had a question on destination we wish to go, service they offered or in idea of what to eat. there is also a gym. there were children present NONE of which were in age to make inappropiate noises said to mention we had good nite sleep NO LOUD NOISES any of the dates at various times of the day, noon nite or weekend we were present-WHICH IS GOOD lol thank you again cynthia for makin our weekend GREAT EMPLOYEE AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. take care. stephen and...

There was no synergy between the receptionist who checked us in and the one who took over from her. In one day, two different staff called us to tell us to make payment if we intend to renew our stay as we were in debit. Meanwhile we were not indebted. There were no proper handover notes for the incoming staff. ||||The deluxe room we took, entitles two persons to complimentary breakfast. On one occasion, we went for breakfast and before we could sit, a waiter hastily walked up to us in the presence of other diners asking if we had 8,000 to pay as that was the cost of breakfast, saying only one person was allowed the complimentary meal. I was pissed and calmly asked that they check their records which they did and later apologised. ||||The plumbing work is faulty. ||||We were on our way out when the front desk asked that we move to another room saying the one we occupied presently was pre-booked by an intending couple. After much arguments, we moved to another room. Two days later, a from desk representative said we would move again as the one we occupied was also pre-booked! We checked out! ||||Different staff have come to serve buffalo wings and yam chips with conflicting prices, moreso, when the prices were conflicting with that on the menu( which was the price we paid on...

terrible hotel, from A-Z, I dont know how it is compared to others in area and standards in Lagos, but this is our experience,

breakfast was the worst, went first day and saw nothing intercontinental that I can eat, only a few crossaint, asked for an omelette, didnt come after 20 minutes so I left, next morning, same thing happened, plus there was no coffee, didnt bother to visit again. There is nothing to eat for breakfast, 0, none. Very annoying and not right, considering I and most people paid extra for breakfast. rundown halls and rooms, terrible smell of mold in the room and corridor the hotel is beyond repairable. Totally falling apart. we had a constant smell of garlic when we turn on AC, even though we asked it to be checked, nothing happened. housekeeping was fine, but the furniture and stuff in room is old, impossible to be cleaned. the towels were so old, they were brown, not white wifi was on and off, impossible to get a work done, if internet is important for you, stay away. Same for electricty, we had a power outage like over 10 times in a day. paid much more than what it was showing on booking portal, always pay online, not on premises, they will try to scam you

In short, wouldn’t recommend this...
