Stayed in over 250 hotels world wide since 2008 and taken special note of hospitality services anywhere I lodge. I consider myself a bit of an experienced patron here.
Stayed here a couple of times. Last stay was on the 7th floor.
They have a considerably large standard room compared to many hotels in Nigeria. The Room I stayed on the 7th floor has the bed with bold head boards; two seater dinning set; a living/lounge couch and coffee table. Comes with daily Complimentary Coffee and coffee making utensils and wares. 4 bottles of Complimentary bottled water.
Bathrobe, branded indoor slippers, electric iron and ironing board, hair dryer, fixed shower gel, conditioner and shampoo. Complimentary bathing soap, body cream, vanity kit, shaving kit and shoeshine.
Their telephone is always complicated for me to use. I find this hilarious, because it has a wireless receiver and yet it is a desk phone. Confuses the heck out of me.
The back rooms have balconies which I adore. My secret private seat out area in the evening.
In my mind’s eye, the TV in the room is a bit small especially given the size of the rooms. However, this is relative as I am used to a Huge TV screen at home. Anything smaller than 60” ,in my mind I feel like I am straining my eyes. Also the TV goes to sleep even when you are watching. I guess it is the sleep mode settings. Didn’t want to fiddle with it. Just push volume up or down button once in a while.
Gym is good. With an indoor type of pool. Outdoor Bar/Lounge is super. Has a good view.
Restaurant is good. If you eat healthy they have salads and veggies. If you eat Keto, pick up some chicken and beef and go to the salad section and load up some fresh sliced veggies. If you eat whole food plant based diet just grab veggies from the various options they have and grab sliced and whole fruits. If you eat generally, they have options from Nigerian/local to intercontinental with a standby chef making a la carte options from omelets to pasta. If you have an incurable sweet tooth, avoid their desert section. You will see options that will tempt you, please. 😀😀
Comfortable and cozy lobby with ATM Machines with cash available while I was there. Stroll out of the hotel and you can see some small businesses around(typical lagos). ShopRite is just a 5 minutes bolt ride away.
My Cons
The rooms can be cozily dark. I like light! Lots of light! I work late into the night and early morning. I need light to see my computer keys!
There is a need to educate the G4S Security men/women. Not all women who enter hotel buildings at night are Commercial Sex Workers! These security personnel wrongly profile and can be VERY RUDE TO FEMALE GUESTS! AS FOR ME I immediately called them to order. No guest should ever entertain such a behavior.
Overall, I will stay here again given the...

Review: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Four points by Sheraton . From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I knew I was in for a truly exceptional experience. This place surpassed all my expectations and left me with unforgettable memories.

Read moreVery Disappointing Experience at Four Points by Sheraton Lagos Nigeria-Marriott Dear Management Team / Marriott Team,
My name is Muhammad Nauman. I am a frequent traveler to the Middle East and Africa and always prefer Marriott group hotels due to the comfort and quality I have come to expect. However, my recent experience at Four Points by Sheraton Lagos from 1st to 5th September, during an official trip from the UAE, was unfortunately far below the standards I associate with Marriott.
Upon arrival, we had to carry all our luggage to the rooms by overself, as there was no bellboy or staff available to assist. When I requested help from a security staff member at the entrance, I was told assistance was not available. Once we entered to rooms, I realized I had forgotten to bring my dental kit and noticed that no dental amenities were provided in the bathroom—only hair and body wash. On 1st September at 7:00 PM, I called reception to request a dental kit. Despite my request, nothing was delivered. I waited several hours and eventually went to bed without receiving it. The next morning, 2nd September, I left early for a meeting and returned around 10:00 PM. I again called reception to request the dental kit. After 30 minutes, I followed up and was told it was being arranged. I waited another 30 minutes, but still nothing was provided. On 3rd September, I spoke directly with the receptionist and then with the duty manager, who apologized and assured me the kit would be sent shortly. Unfortunately, it never arrived. On 4th September, the issue remained unresolved. I met again with the duty manager and a female supervisor to inquire about the repeated failure to provide such a basic service, but neither offered a clear explanation or solution. Finally, on 5th September, during check-out, when I shared my experience with the receptionist, his response was, “This is Nigeria, and it happens here.” I found this reply highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Additionally, similar issues were experienced by my colleagues—there were 5 to 6 of us, each booked in separate rooms, similar issue for all. I am unsure whether this hotel still operates under the Marriott group. If it does, I strongly urge Marriott’s senior management to investigate this matter thoroughly. Such behavior and attitude towards guests are inconsistent with the standards of an international hotel brand. Please feel free to contact me for any further information. My email address is provided below. Attached is my invoice for reference. Thank you for...
