The tea was incredible. Probably the best I've had in Abuja. The presentation was pretty solid too. The restaurant is in a weird place. A converted house which kind of confuses at first. My friend had a steak and mashed potatoes which he wasn't raving about. Service was warm and going great until they decided to start arranging chairs in their outdoor space in a way that was clearly not indicative of any social distancing protocols given COVID and just uncomfortable. They'd moved two different tables so close together, that unless you came in a large group and you occupied both tables, it'd be weird cos you could listen in to each others conversation, literally breathe into each others faces. Way too close to comfort. And when I asked why, the person who appeared to be the manager shrugged and said, "that's the arrangement" which to me is same as: Well I don't really care about this customers complaint, I'll do what I want to do anyway. The concept of the food is Persian (Iranian) and the menu is quite affordable.
The environment is cozy and serene. The decor is so natural and effortless. I totally love it.
