this wasn’t my first time visiting cilantro but I had always sat outside and visited at night. So I finally decided to visit during the day and this time around stay inside & omg! This has automatically become my Number 1 go to for a date.

SERVICE : was impeccable. The staff were properly dressed and had their face shields on all through. They were very polite and patient. The manager at some point came by to take the order and was very calm.

ENVIRONMENT : I love me a place that gives me vacation vibes especially because if I don’t go on a vacation all year I might lose my mind & ( covid made me miss my summer TRIP for 2020 ) so being in this space and feeling like I was in Bali really gave me butterflies . Asides the fact that this location will make you feel rejuvenated there’s a lot of green grasses and trees present for that perfect picnic 🧺 we seem to be in the season for those!

FOOD: mixed meat rice ( N3,600) is my go to all day when I visit an Indian restaurant. I also had peshwari Naan bread ( N800) stuffed with coconut & nuts. While my partner had friend noodles with shrimps ( N3,800) . I like a good spicy food so I requested for spicy sauce & believe me you the combination is perfect!

DRINKS: I asked the waitress to suggest because I wanted to try out the sugarcane juice but it was unfortunately not available. She made the best decision for me and ladies and gentlemen don’t leave cilantro without trying it. Unfortunately I can’t remember what it was called but it had some berry thing in its name anyways I’ll post a photo so you can show them when you visit .

SERVICE CHARGE / V.A.T is included Trust me it’s worth it 😋.

If you’ve visited before let me know in the comments how your experience went & if you visit after seeing this post? Also let me know.

We’ve been to this restaurant many times and usually enjoy both food, service and atmosphere.

However tonight we had made reservations for New Year’s Eve and somehow there had been a mixup and they had seated us at a new year event they had as a cross over. Which can happen. Seeing as we have a baby and was not up for a full night of music and celebration we talked to the staff and asked to be seated in the normal restaurant where we had booked a table.

The staff was not able to find us a table outside as we had requested in our reservation and asked us to wait until a table cleared up even though there were several available table’s where there was no guests seated. We wanted to leave and ordered for an Uber when a waiter came up and said he could seat us at an appropriate table now. So we canceled our Uber.

We ended up waiting for over an hour to be seated causing our baby to be tired and needing to go which meant we had to hurry up eating our food to get going. It was not the nice dinner we had in mind.

The food was good as usual but the waiter didn’t get our drink order right. Which honestly wouldn’t have been a big deal if we did not already have to wait for over an hour in spite of making a reservation beforehand.

When we left the table we had asked to be seated at was still available and no guests had been there. And we were not given any complimentary drink or discount for the big inconvenience.

We are very disappointed in this service and will not be returning again...

If I could give negative stars I would. Worst experience I’ve ever had. I was there with my friends and family for my birthday dinner. The waitress was so rude and negative from the go, I asked for someone else. I ordered a cappuccino and champagne and everyone placed their order. The food came in 5 mins I was in shock, the chicken I ordered as starter was completely raw, I asked for it to be recooked but it never came back, my sons chicken strips and chips was so old and oily it had to be returned, my husband ordered salad that never came, another person ordered noodles and side prawns, the prawns didn’t come. They brought extra 2 plates of food that nobody ordered, which I even decided to just accept and pack as takeaway. The cappuccino and champagne came after all the food was eaten. You literally take the bottle out the fridge and bring a glass why did it take over an hour? And they still gave me wine glass saying they don’t have champagne glass. The cappuccino was instant coffee with milk which I returned. This place is a joke. Will never return. Literally ruined my birthday. And all the manager said Is let me give you a free cocktail. I don’t...

I think it is ok, interesting location and ambience. Quite over subscribed the night I was there, parking was a nightmare. Service: was a bit of a drag possibly because of the oversubscribed night. The used table beside our allocated table was uncleared for a while, our table was missing napkins and such, then again I would excuse this based on the busy night and seemingly short on hands. The food...hmmm, though not big on Indian cuisine, I looked forward to a burst of flavours on taste, nothing overwhelming but I couldn't get tasty on my palate so hey! Another opinion said it was just fair nothing fabulous, that the ambience might be the attraction. Pricing: I think it is overpriced for what one got. Interesting is the fact that on ordering any of the Chinese sauces, a patron would have to order the accompaniments separately. Parking: Have I mentioned earlier that it was a nightmare? It was. Guests: Please so called VIPs can you not clog public spaces with escorts who wait on you while you eat, not eating themselves and making movement a drag? If you are going for a night out in a public place be considerate of other patrons and come alone.
