Newton's Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Wuse II

A friend and I stopped by Newtons Restaurant recently and had an amazing experience.

The ambience is great and definitely very picturesque. The waiter was very polite and very accommodating. She knew details about the menu and was able to provide useful recommendations.

We ordered the Newtons Special Creamy Chicken Pasta (but I told them to replace the “cream” with a tomate base), Milasi Chicken Skewers with Spicy Chicken Rice, Fries, and Strawberry Daiquiri (Cocktail and Mocktail). I LOVED BOTH the pasta and the rice! But I think the Pasta is my fave of the two tbh. The pasta was sooo goooddd, when they brought it, the smell just screamed FLAVOR. The taste was wayyy better than I expected. I can’t pinpoint the particular spices that was used but the meal was very rich (both in protein and spices) and definitely not in a bad way! The Milasi Chicken and Spicy Rice gave me suya vibes. I enjoyed the pepper of the both the rice and the chicken! They complemented each other perfectly; it was ridiculous. I tip my hat to the CHEF at Newtons! They know what they are doing.

My mocktail was great! It wasn’t watered down at all and it’s right up there as one of my all-time favorite mock tail experience.

Overall, like I said earlier, my experience was awesome. My only slight complain is about the portion (of the rice) but that’s not so much of an issue.

📍: NEWTON’S RESTAURANT AND BAR (27a Pope John Paul street, off Gana street, Maitama Abuja) @newtonsrestaurantandbar • AMBIENCE I love, love, love the ambience of this space😍 maybe it’s the wall art of three beautiful Edo queens facing the entrance or it’s the beautiful pink flowers and greenery or maybe the burnt orange and white aesthetics of the interior and their beautiful shisha/lounge area😍. I’m not sure what did it for me but I love it all. • SPACE I loved that they have enough space for parking both inside and outside. The restaurant space can be rearranged for intimate events like birthdays, proposals and more and same goes for the lounge area. • SERVICE I quite enjoyed their service, our waiter was nice and did well to remember details and customizations to our order. • FOOD As a lover of creamy pasta 🍝 it was definitely my first choice, I requested for it to be extra creamy and they delivered, my date went for a chicken salad 🥗 and she loved it. ••• NEWTON’S RESTAURANT & BAR••• Visited Newton’s this week to meet up with an instagram friend turned sis ! and oh my goodness 🤩! The aura of this spot is unspeakable. Arrived and a waiter walked up to me to give me the MENU. I told him I was waiting for my friend and when she showed up he came back to take our orders I commend his attentiveness . We ordered for drinks first. I had the strawberry and passion fruit daiquiri. NOTE; I’ve always had issues with daiquiri so I don’t even bother ordering but I asked him to recommend and it’s safe to say that trusting his judgement was absolutely brave of me and paid off . The drink was divine! My friend had the same to say for her freshly squeezed juive with a dash of ginger . We proceeded to have meals ,the portions were amazingly large and you know what’s better than good food ? More good food !😁here’s what we had 👉( creamy pasta , sautéed calamari, jumbo snails , smoked chicken coleslaw ) total cost was about 17,000 for the both of us including our drinks . After which we explored photographing the space and of course a little photo session happened 😂 watch out !
