Belvedere — Restaurant in Municipality of Bitola

TL;DR Long wait for food, did not get all the food we ordered, bland food not as described, and very grumpy service.

We came in a bit early (around 8pm) and ordered. After waiting for over 30 minutes, our food was delivered. One of us ordered the Pork Kebab, which we found out was diced pork, unseasoned, grilled, and served on a plate with sparse, flavorless fries. The chicken stuffed with cheese and bacon was definitely missing the bacon and also served with flavorless, unsalted fries. We were very disappointed as the other reviews were so positive. The view was very nice, however, and the ambiance inside was alright. I do not recommend eating here when there is so much more flavourful and delicious...

We had the Macedonian salad and it was good. We ordered 3 "house specialties" and the pork with mushrooms was pretty good, clearly cooked fresh. The best of the lot. The pork knee and pork stew were below average. Dry and not much flavor. Like it has been sitting under the heat lamp. Not fresh. Wine selection is good and we very very, very happy with the service. Very nice and helpful. It's a nice room with a bit of a view. Restaurants have off nights (it was slow when we ate) and this was one for them, but I can see where the good reviews are coming from. There is much better food than we had tonight for less nearby, but again, it's probably worth another visit on a weekend, maybe. Ask for...

The staff was very kind, pleasant, and helpful. We ordered shopska salad, a grilled dish consisting of a mixture of minced meat and the delivery was very fast. The delivery was very fast and the food we ordered was excellent and delicious.

This restaurant has the best view of Bitola in the well-known RoofTop style glass building.
