OK. Everything was all right and we were not here for the first time. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the prices - everything was all right.
But, before making a reservation this time (because the legal and practical things in our country might differ between two goings to the same place) we asked whether there is or could we make a reservation in a non-smoking room at the restaurant. After being confirmed that there is, we did a reservation for x-quantity of people, certain time in a non-smoking room at the restaurant.
Everything was all right while we were the early comers in the restaurant. Later, when the other tables started becoming occupied, the vaping in the same room started becoming more and more noticeable.
We are aware about the legal things regarding the smoking and vaping in a public space in our country being a big mess currently, but we see replying on a request for a table for x-quantity of people in a non-smoking area as a "non-smoking area" as a question of honesty.
We complained our waiter about the issue soon after we noticed the issue, and were replied that "it is not on us" but "on the managers", "owners" etc. so they didn't have and idea what to do regarding our complains... so we went on enjoying our food and company as if everything was all right, while we were still there.
On the exit, after we paid and tipped as expected, we used the opportunity to complain to the higher level personnel about our expectations not being met regarding being accommodated in a non-smoking area at the restaurant. Concluding that our attempt was a one-way conversation, however attempted to be friendly and a productive discussion, we realized that we have to save energy for some other things we had to do later in the day, said "Thank you. Goodbye.", and went away.
We are aware that the legal things regarding the smoking and vaping in a public space in our country are a big mess currently, but it is not beyond the limits of trying to be honest and hospitable to your customers in full capacity.
I wish next time we visit the place the legislative would not be just a handy excuse for not reorganizing the things in favor of the customers with their own specific expectations and needs, but that they will be also seen as important as the smokers that might probabbly currently be seen as the majority among the target-customers of the restaurant.
Being someone personally involved in the hospitality business in our country, on a daily basis, with clients coming mostly from abroad, I hope the owners of this business will sooner rather than later realize about the chance of a bigger client base they might miss, regarding people looking for a quality restaurant with a fully respected non-smoking...
Read moreMy recent visit to this restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. The experience was truly amazing from start to finish, and it’s clear why this place has such a fantastic reputation. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the stew – it was rich, flavorful, and prepared to absolute perfection. Each bite was a delight, with a combination of spices and ingredients that made it truly unforgettable. You can tell the chef puts a lot of passion into crafting dishes that go beyond the ordinary.
Equally impressive was the service. The staff consistently deliver top-level hospitality, always attentive, friendly, and ready to make your dining experience as enjoyable as possible. It’s refreshing to see such dedication to customer service, where you feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of from the moment you step in. The team’s knowledge of the menu and their willingness to accommodate special requests make every visit feel special.

Read moreTheir appetizers, side dishes, and salads are some of the BEST I’ve EVER had, making this place PERFECT for VEGETARIANS, and to a lesser extent vegans.
There were 7 of us and we started ordering the appetizers; they were so good that, one by one, we ended up ordering everything. By the time we got to order meat, we were all stuffed. The meat didn’t live up to the deliciousness of the appetizers, but maybe I felt like that because I was already well-fed.
My favorite items on the menu:
#1. The sour/pickled peppers with sour cream. We were told that the sour cream was not added to the peppers, but it was regular milk that was pickled together with the peppers. This dish was by far the champion. #2. The “vitamin” salad with cabbage, beats, and carrots. It has some roasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds too. #3. The plate with various pindjur and ajvar spreads. #4. The Grilled “bieno sirenje” cheese. #5. The nafora. The only issue was that it was small #6. The deep-fried breaded zucchini squash. They are paper thin and crunchy....
