The WORST experience so far in my pub life. There is no menu (it was in the printing phase...future tense incomplete), so they can "patch" you how they want. The salad is served in micro portion (as a sauce) and with three yellow brandies you can buy a liter of brandy. When we asked the waiter how much one kebab is, he told us 25, and they charged us 35. He brought us chili peppers that we didn't order, and with them they justify the extra price. We were charged 500 denars for 14 kebabs (without any addition to the portion). Plus 1 brandy, 2 small buns ( usually goes with portion), 2 small waters,1 soft drink, 1 micro salad and two unordered peppers, we were charged 910 den. At my insistence (quarrel), the extra charged 140 denars were returned to me. The pleasure is not returnable. Wаsted...
Read moreMacedonian kebab and Turkish meatballs are similar tastes apart from some minor differences. Destan's kebab is quite tasty but closer to the Turkish version. Portions are good but less than other restaurants in Skopje. For example, when you say a salad, two people can eat together, but here the salad comes in a small bowl. Meatballs are the same in number as elsewhere, but smaller in size. Despite all that, it's tasty and very satisfying. I think the only bad thing is that you can't order anything besides the salad as side dish, because their menu is limited. If you just want to eat kebab, it will satisfy you, but if you want a snack or side dish besides kebab, you don't have...
Read moreOkay and tasty kebab....but only like that. Nothing special. Nothing amazing about them. Their size is small and they're overpriced. I have tried many better kebabs. Sorry but they're not worth for the money. The salad is ridicoulously small. I mean, I paid 11€ for 20 kebabs, one very small salad (half tomato and 1/4 cucumber), and 2 cokes. I would have been ashamed to serve a salad of that size for that price range. That's funny. The salad sizing was the biggest "joke" that I have ever seen. The dishes weren't clean also.
At the old Bazaar...you can eat twice as much for that price than here...with better quality food and way more bigger...
