Sandvika Folkebad — Restaurant in Bærum

I have been a regular at this place for about a few weeks now. I just went there on a random day, and the barmester welcomed me and offered me a selection of beers since a beer is what I had asked for. That first interaction gave me a really great first impression about the place. The guy (Calle/Kalle) had a "sparkle" in his eyes, almost a desire to give me the best beer for me.

Since then, I've gotten to know the workers, and I have to say that I haven't met cooler people in this industry. Both in the quality of their work, and in their temperaments. Their social awareness are also top-tier so there are rarely any undesirable customers that aren't asked to leave.

There aren't very many places as welcoming as this one. Whenever I'm having a less than desirable day, Folkebadet is the place to be. I cannot recommend a better place to have a good meal and some high quality drinks in the whole...

This place is new, the food I’ve tried is great so far. Crunchy pizzas, succulent burgers and a varied menu of other lunch and dinner items as well. The staff has a way to go, primarily students I assume, but hopefully someone will grab the reins and explain to them that the wine needs to be described more than the red or white one. At the moment I’m struggling to define the vibe you get from this place but I have high hopes, and will return if only for the food...

Sandvika Folkebad is a restaurant close to Sandvika train station. They serve a variety of dishes and have some vegetarian and vegan options. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a nice view of the Sandvika river from the restaurant. The focaccia and pizzas were quite good, however the burger was not our favorite.
