Burger Bordello — Restaurant in Kristiansand

Tried reserving a table a week in advance. They told me they don't take reservations, when we arrived 5 people in total. We were told that the tables were reserved. We enquired on why our reservation was not accepted yet the tables that were available were now reserved. Maybe it's because I'm a foreigner, maybe there was a misunderstanding. Nevertheless once I came in I realized this was the wrong place to be. The smell inside was dank, smelled of mold, don't know if kitchen was dirty or just really bad ventilated but I was glad to not have been seated in a moist and overcrowded restaurant that did not seem to respect any sort of hygiene rules...

Nothing to write home about. Ordered chicken wings, the menu referenced it came with vegetables. The wings were deep fried plain, no salt no batter, w 4 carrot sticks and a plastic ramekin of blue cheese sauce. I also had Tollboden fries, which said came with parmesan and herbs. It was a pinch of parmesan and a pinch of Italian seasoning. Saltless too. I expected more cheese, more taste or anything. The table had no salt, no ketchup or other condiments. My bf had a burger, that was nice at least. Next time we will try...

I appreciate the effort the staff puts into their work, but I believe there should be more attention to professionalism..Friendly conversations and jokes among staff and their acquaintances are understandable, but they should be kept to appropriate times and places, especially in a food preparation area. I also noticed some concerns regarding hygiene, particularly when staff members return from socializing. Additionally, the service could be more polished, and unfortunately, the burger I had did not taste...
