The fortress is an easy and free visit while in the harbour area. It’s not especially spectacular, but it is well kept and just enough to give a taste of the town’s historically strategic importance. And its location is ideal: being situated amid several marina’s, restaurants, and recreational areas.

Very nice fortress on the outside, but entrance a bit hard to find. As a conference hall, they desperately need to mount acoustic plates in the roof. Audio quality was really bad with slight noise from the back being a real annoyance. Apart from that it's a really interesting and round locale.

Entrance is free and the fortress confers a really good view of the harbour. There are several small canons to look at and if you are strolling around the city there is no nicer place to visit.

It is a beautiful view to the sea from the Fortress. Very enjoyable to sit around and wall to the green park around. Well located and easy to reach the cruise terminal.

Great old fortress! My grandma worked here when it used to be a restaurant. Today it seems to be used for festivals and gatherings of different kinds.
