The fortress is an easy and free visit while in the harbour area. It’s not especially spectacular, but it is well kept and just enough to give a taste of the town’s historically strategic importance. And its location is ideal: being situated amid several marina’s, restaurants, and recreational areas.

Very nice fortress on the outside, but entrance a bit hard to find. As a conference hall, they desperately need to mount acoustic plates in the roof. Audio quality was really bad with slight noise from the back being a real annoyance. Apart from that it's a really interesting and round locale.

This place is exactly how you would perceive a fortress of this size. It sits perfectly in the center and has view over and around the entire city. If you are here on holiday I would without a doubt recommend you to visit this place. Entrance is feeless. I have however never been inside...
