Such a lovely and cozy cafe right by a waterfall. It's quite small inside, but there's plenty of seating outside. The queue and waiting time can be a bit long, so make sure to come early. Unfortunately, when we went an hour before closing time, the waffles and toast were sold out, which was a bit disappointing. However, the tea and coffee were really good. We will definitely be back again to try out the food.

Thanks to a local that suggested this place, I had the chance to try a traditional Norwegian waffle topped with cheese, strawberry jam, and cream, and it was a delightful treat. The overall experience was very pleasant, and the prices are reasonable. If you’re not extremely hungry, one waffle is more than enough to satisfy. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely cozy café in the style of a Norwegian countryside place. They have a surprisingly wide variety of drinks and lovely cakes and baked goods. You can sit outside by the waterfall or enjoy yourself in the warmth homeliness inside the house. Don't expect to be served as quick as possible but with a personal touch.

Lovely café by the canal, I visited in winter so we stayed inside, however the back garden looks like a lovely place to sit outside in summer near the waterfall. The waffles with brown cheese and strawberry jam was recommended by the staff and it was absolute delicious.

Lovely place with a nice view over the fast running river and waterfall. It’s really small inside but outside there is enough space with table and chairs. One can order a selection of teas and cakes. There is Norwegian beer on tap, lovely!!

Great location right by a small waterfall at Akerselva. Very nice waffles, freshly made, with the option of sour cream and jam or - preferably - brown cheese 😋 Good coffee and fairly friendly service (most of the time) …
