Bergmann´s Tønsberg — Restaurant in Tønsberg

My friend took me out for dinner while I was visiting Norway because I wanted seafood in this place had good reviews. I got the cod which was a bit bland but the vegetables and sweet potato purée were great. She was going to order tenderloins but the waiter ( who was great) convinced her the entrecôte is better so she ordered it. Very disappointing- even though the meat was rare it was very tough! And not the quality you expect in entrecôte. It was a fatty tough piece of beef but not entrecôte.

Very cosy restaurant, but food was not for the prices they had. We had a signature pizza (269kr): toping was good, but dough was raw, and burger with truffle sauce(262): burger bread was home made, tasted quite good, but the meat was one the cheap kind (the one that you get in CircleK) Waiters were friendly, but unfortunately, no one came to ask how the food was, so we couldn't tell them about the pizza before we paid.

I had the danish sandwich stjerneskudd. I was a little surprised that it was served with white bread and not rye bread. Ask the waiter, and you had to ask for this. The menu dont mention this. Other than that the sandwich was very good. The restaurant was very cold, another table complained about this. They have recently opened, so I dont know if the heating is finished.
