I came here to have a cup of tea and work for a few hours, and asked before ordering if they had wifi which the girl behind the counter confirmed. Of course once I sit down to connect, neither my phone nor computer would get online, and so I ask her about it and am told that it should be working fine. Yeah thanks, I know it "should" be, but it's not. Half an hour later I finally get her to reboot the router, and what a surprise - it starts working right away.

But the tea was good, they had a good selection of beverages & food, and I appreciate that she did reboot even if it took a while to convince her...

Cafe M has become an institution in Tønsberg. Good coffee, quality food and an ever rotating exhibition of local artists work (all for sale) make it a sure bet for old regulars and newbies alike. Outdoor seating in summer, very large indoor section split into two floor to ceiling windowed rooms and one windowless function room (large and only used for events and when the overflow gets too much to handle). It is a very welcoming café, where you can enjoy excellent desserts (the lemon curd tart 😋 recommended), but also some beautiful and appetizing savory dishes. The place is spacious and the atmosphere is warm. During this covid period, the rules are respected and the employees use masks. Strongly recommended also for families with children 🤗Det er en veldig imøtekommende kafé, hvor du kan nyte utmerkede desserter (sitrontarte , anbefales😋), men også noen vakre og appetittvekkende smakfulle retter. Stedet er koselig og stemningen er varm. I løpet av denne Covid perioden blir reglene respektert og de ansatte bruker munnbindene.
