How I wished I knew about this place before I visited, I would have stayed here! Multiple part review coming up: cafe, yoga, and overall venue. 1. Cafe: got the best matcha in lofoten here. Like, actually good matcha, not even relative to the local availability. I was quite surprised (pleasantly). Incredible interior and great cafe ambiance. Connected to the restaurant. 2. Yoga: we weren’t staying there but came to a yoga class on a rainy day. This turned out to be a beautiful decision. The yoga studio space is on the top floor (3) looking out at the water. You can hear the waves crashing during the class for a soothing white noise sensation, in addition to the soft music in the class. The class itself was also a really nice balance of vinyasa flows and relaxation, perfect after some hiking in the week! 3. TREVAREFABRIKKEN: place as it exists is fascinating to me. I love the origin story and what they’ve built: a place for people to gather and meet. We went to a trivia/quiz night after the yoga class and chatted with some folks working in town. The combination of things in the space (cafe, yoga, sauna, restaurant, and rooms) makes for a great vibe. And they’ve done an incredible job curating everything. I left feeling inspired! I’d love to return and stay here in the future, and it made me think about curating spaces myself! Cheers, and keep growing :)

Nipped into this place for a coffee and a bit of cake and was very pleasntly surprised with this place! Having been to Henningsvær a few times over the years, it is good to see that folks are still keen to drop a few dollarydoos into the town to keep it alive. If I didn’t come after lunch, I would have had a pizza and a brew put the back, but unfortunately on this occasion I was a bit too full for them - plus I was driving! Anyway, the venue is great, service pretty good, coffee and cake top notch and the joint was clean and clearly being taken care of. Keep up the good work and onwards and upwards for the post-pandemic international purism boom. Cheers.

Trevarefabrikken was our home base for about a week on our very first visit to Lofoten and we loved it. A place that has so much hard history, but at the same time exudes warmth. We had the smallest room, which worked well for us. After all, you want to be outside all the time anyway and if not, the terrace, bar and café always invite you to linger and relax. The only thing we would have liked was the option of a later breakfast after a marvellous night of concerts. But as my grandma used to say: if you can party, you can get up early. PS: the pizzas are also very good!

Room was nicely designed but very minimal furnitured (no chair, desk, cooler). View was on the parking lot which was messy. Staff was overal friendly but there seemed to lack a certain structure one would expect in a hotel. A modest breakfast ist served on a plate (by a sympathetic British guy) which was okay. The place is also used for venues. The last night there was some party going on which went on till 23:30/0:00. Normally no problem because I have my earbuds with me, but the bass was set so loud that it kept me awake even through my earbuds. The bathroom floor was also vibrating. We also weren't informed that there would be a party and on the website there was nothing planned for that day (8 September) concerning venues. This unfortunately influenced my overall experience (despite nice staff and good pizza) in a negative way, in such manner that I will not recommend this place as a hotel. I wanted to give feedback to the receptionist, but unfortunately there was none at time of departure. Despite an interesting concept and nicely designed rooms, a few necessary elements where lacking (reception, information, and the sauna is not included in the price). For the price we have paid for a double room (176 euro's a night), I kinda felt ripped off after I also had to pay as a hotel guest for the sauna. I hope the place will change some things if they want to present themselves also as a hotel. I wish the place all the best, but at the moment it is not ready to function as a hotel with so many lacking elements...
