I recently dined at Afghan House, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. To begin with, the food quality was subpar—definitely not worth the price. It lacked flavor and freshness, which is surprising for a restaurant that claims to offer authentic Afghan cuisine.

The service was even worse. The waiter, who was Pakistani, displayed an extremely bad attitude, acting unprofessional and rude throughout our time there. His behavior made us feel unwelcome, and it seems like the staff is not trained to handle basic customer service needs.

On top of that, when we requested some pomegranate sauce, we were told that we’d have to pay an additional 1 rial, just for the sauce! It felt like they were nickel-and-diming us over something that should be a simple request in any decent restaurant.

To make matters worse, the manager on duty was absolutely useless and couldn’t handle the situation or resolve the misunderstanding. His lack of involvement and inability to manage such a minor issue spoke volumes about the overall lack of competence at this establishment.

I would strongly advise people to avoid dining here. Save your money and time and visit another restaurant that values its customers and serves quality food.

We recently visited Afghani House with a group of friends, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. We ordered the mix grill platter, and it exceeded all our expectations. The meat was juicy, tender, and packed with authentic Afghani flavors. Each item on the platter—from the kebabs to the grilled chicken and lamb—was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. They served us with a warm smile and checked in regularly to see if we were enjoying our meal. Their hospitality added to the overall positive vibe of the place.

The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed setting. The portion sizes were generous, and we found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Overall, I would give Afghani House 4 out of 5 stars. Great food and service, with just a little room for improvement in ambiance and overall presentation. Still a solid choice for anyone craving...

We recently visited Afghan House with high hopes of enjoying some quality Afghan cuisine, but unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we entered, it was clear that the ambiance left much to be desired. The room was in poor condition, with parts of the ceiling visibly damaged and broken, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. To add to our discomfort, we even noticed cockroaches on the floor, which was not only unsettling but genuinely made us feel nauseous.

The lack of cleanliness was alarming, and it overshadowed any expectations we had for the meal. When the food arrived, it sadly didn’t live up to our hopes either. The dishes were bland and lacked the authentic flavors we anticipated. It was incredibly disappointing to find that the taste was as unappealing as the surroundings.
