Their Kunafa is awesome

Their mixed seafood 🦞 is mouthwatering, However on our last and recent visit had a bit of negative experience with food. As we ordered the usual 3 mixed seafood rice- we got rice with very less seafood- literally may be like 3 prawns per rice plate and some cream dory slices. And thats it. There were no visible squids incorporated , usually we get a lots of seafood in this portions , but it really disappointed us. However, we informed the person who waited our table and his personality was appreciated, as he was very responsive and humble and listened to us. And re made the food.

We had this green chicken tikka. The fish fingers were so crunchy. And many more. I’d strongly recommend this place

I took my family after a long time to Al Aktham, I was shocked to see that there were almost no customers on a Saturday night for dinner. The waiter did not have enough experience and knowledge about the food, the communication language was poor. The worst thing was that there was no chef to prepare any sort of pasta. The Indian food was served in intervals. Once they were ready, so some of the dishes arrived while we were almost done. The food in general was mediocre at best, we certainly had better food and experience in many other basic restaurants around town. On the other hand, the prices were well above the quality of food and the service, not to mention, the maintenance was very bad, the lighting was poor and furniture was broken and there were exposed screws on the table. We were not very happy about the experience in this resturant. The only reason I gave this resturant a 2 star review instead of one was because the portions were larger...

Best butter chicken I had in my life hands down , and I believe it's their best seller , it's now called Aktham butter They have it a different style as well but please don't bother and go for the classic Akthams butter chicken They been serving this some the 90s as far as I remember and probably b4 I was born , u can ask your elders ho where here in Oman and they will confirm their superiority in Indian cuisine since probably the 80's and probably earlier if they where around that time , I suggest pairing the butter gold with butter naan or garlic naan , the soups are good too . جربو وادعولي بلشفاء وفلدنيا جسمه وفلآخره حسنه إذا عجبكم 🤣 الله...
