A vegetarians paradise.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Asia Kitchen by Mainland China, and , it was an absolute veggie extravaganza! As soon as I glanced at the menu, my eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store – there were so many delectable options for us herbivores! Now, I must admit, finding a restaurant with an extensive vegetarian menu can sometimes feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. But at Asia Kitchen, they have truly outdone themselves. They understand that veggies deserve to be pampered just as much as our meat-eating friends. I was thrilled to see that their vegetarian section was not just an afterthought, but a delightful array of flavors and textures. The Assorted Momos Platter stole the show, offering an amazing double serve of momos that allowed me to taste their entire momo lineup without breaking the bank. It was like a rollercoaster ride for my taste buds! But wait, it gets even better! Asia Kitchen surprised me with their Amazing Avocado and Mango Sushi Roll – a delectable delight and the first vegetarian sushi I have ever had. Complete with sides of soy and wasabi, this sushi roll was a game-changer. Who said vegetarians can't enjoy sushi? Not at Asia Kitchen! To quench my thirst, I indulged in their amazing mocktails. The Watermelon Cooler was a refreshing burst of fruity goodness, while the Orange Pineapple Blossom was a tropical paradise in a glass. Each sip was pure bliss, perfectly complementing the flavorful dishes. As I moved on to the main course, the Jasmine Blue Rice stole my heart. Its vibrant blue hue was a feast for the eyes, and the combination of the lotus stem, water chestnut, and asparagus gravy was out of this world. The flavors danced harmoniously on my palate, leaving me craving for more. And let's not forget the dessert – a Chinese-style rehash of Modak. This sweet treat took my taste buds on a joyride, with its unique twist on a traditional favorite. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable meal, leaving me yearning for just one more bite.

And the dishes are just the tip of the iceberg. There were so many others we would want to try and experience. So we would be back for more soon.

A shoutout to Man Bahadur for ensuring we had our fill before we decided to leave the restaurant.

The entire staff was super courteous available and recommended food that we were super happy with. This place just opened up 2 weeks ago and it’s already crowded. So make sure you reach well on time if you wish to experience the culinary magic.

Especially , if you're a fellow vegetarian or simply looking to explore the fantastic world of plant-based cuisine, I highly recommend giving Asia Kitchen by Mainland China a visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Get ready to embark on a vegetarian adventure that will leave you craving for more!

They also have non vegetarian and Are able to convert any vegetarian fare to Jain variant also. Just request them and they take care of it.

Sensory Symphony: A Vegetarian Adventure at Asia Kitchen, Mall of Oman

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Asia Kitchen by Mainland China, and it was truly a delightful experience! As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to find a wide array of flavorful and texture-rich options on the menu. The Assorted Momos Platter was a definite highlight, allowing me to explore a variety of momos in one go. The Amazing Avocado and Mango Sushi Roll was a pleasant surprise and a refreshing twist on vegetarian sushi.

To complement the meal, I enjoyed their mocktails - the Watermelon Cooler and Orange Pineapple Blossom were both refreshing and perfectly balanced. Moving on to the main course, the Jasmine Blue Rice with lotus stem, water chestnut, and asparagus gravy was a true culinary delight. The Chinese-style Modak dessert provided a sweet ending to a fabulous meal.

Apart from the delicious food, I must commend the exceptional service provided by Maharulla and Ujjwal. Their attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and customer-centric approach truly enhanced my dining experience. The entire staff was courteous and accommodating, making the visit all the more enjoyable.

If you're in Mall of Oman and looking for a fantastic vegetarian dining experience or simply want to explore plant-based cuisine, I highly recommend visiting Asia Kitchen by Mainland China. With a plethora of vegetarian options and top-notch service, this restaurant is sure to leave you impressed. Kudos to Maharulla and Ujjwal for ensuring a memorable...

The place caught my eye and lingered in my mind as I strolled through the mall. After an intense shopping spree, an Asian dinner was the perfect idea of soul food. We were promptly seated despite the large numbers flocking in. The waiters are friendly, and the manager was attentive and well knowledgeable on the menu. His suggestions were impeccable. We decided to go with the spicy salmon sushi roll, chicken pan-fried dimsum for starters. The asparagus in the sushi was new for me but added a subtle flavour at the end. I thoroughly enjoyed the dimsum and highly recommend lashings of oyster sauce along with the chilli oil and green chilli to enhance and further compliment the flavour. For mains, we went with the infamous Indonesian Nasi Goreng and Yaki Soba noodles. Both options included the chicken add-on. The egg was fully cooked with the Nasi Goreng, so I did miss the runny yolk oozing and envolping the rice. Nevertheless, it was delicious. The buck wheat noodles were a first for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. It had packed incredible flavour, and the veggies complimented the dish well. I would advise you to definitely check out the place. I highly recommend going with a group so that you can Tey a wider variety on the menu. The portions are pleasing and more than enough to satisfy a huge appetite. A big shout out to Armaan and Urwaal, who made sure dinner was sumptuous...

Definitely can visit once for the Pan Asian experience. Food: The quantity is quite good for the price paid. A must-try is the Crispy Corn (without Kaffir Lime)—it tastes much better without the lime overpowering the flavors. The Vegetables Nasi Goreng Rice lives up to expectations and is a solid choice. The kids' meal is worth buying. We ordered French Fries, Crispy Fried Chicken, Butter Garlic Noodles, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and Honey Noodles with Almond Flakes. All dishes are served in proper soup bowls, which may be a bit too much for small kids to finish. Could Skip: The Sweet & Sour Chicken was too sour, and the chicken pieces were not tender, leaving an unchewable residue—definitely disappointing. Ambiance: Located right opposite Snow Oman, it feels more like an open mall restaurant rather than a cozy dining space. There’s nothing exceptional about the decor. Service: The staff is helpful but struggles with prompt service. The wait time is a serious disappointment, which affects the overall dining experience. Would visit again, but only if I have extra time to spare.
