Unjustified Price Hike at Saravana Bhavan, Al Khuwair, Muscat
I recently had breakfast at Saravana Bhavan in Al Khuwair, Muscat, and I was disappointed to find that the prices had been increased without any apparent justification. As a long-time patron of this restaurant, I felt compelled to share my experience.
Saravana Bhavan has been a go-to spot for South Indian cuisine enthusiasts in Muscat for years, known not only for its delectable food but also for its reasonable pricing. However, on my recent visit, it became evident that the pricing structure had changed significantly.
The price hike was noticeable across the entire menu, from traditional dosas to the elaborate thali meals. What was once an affordable dining option for many has now become a more expensive indulgence. The most concerning aspect of this increase is the lack of any apparent reason or improvement in the quality of food or service to justify it.
While it's not uncommon for restaurants to adjust their prices over time due to factors like inflation or rising costs, customers generally expect transparency and, ideally, an enhancement in the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, in this case, there was no such explanation or improvement.
As a result, many loyal customers like myself are left feeling disappointed and discouraged from visiting Saravana Bhavan as frequently as before. It's essential for businesses to maintain the delicate balance between profitability and customer satisfaction, and this recent price hike seems to have tipped the scales unfavorably.
In conclusion, my recent experience at Saravana Bhavan in Al Khuwair, Muscat, was marred by an unjustified increase in prices. While I appreciate the restaurant's commitment to providing delicious South Indian cuisine, it's essential for them to communicate and substantiate such price changes to maintain the trust and loyalty of their customer base.
I hope that Saravana Bhavan takes customer feedback into consideration and reevaluates its pricing strategy to ensure that patrons can continue to enjoy their culinary delights without feeling the pinch in...
Read moreAs all of you know, authentic taste was good. But hike of price was unethical... Few Weeks before coffee priced 0.500 OMR but today ( 07.04.23) priced 0.900 OMR. In this holly Ramadan days you guys are looting others, even we waited there for morethan one hours to get the order. Our time as more valuable as your dishes, so please respect that. And one of your employees itself confessed that, they are not getting proper vocation, need to work more than 16 hours per day. Torturing like hell.....😡😡
At least take care of worker's, those who are hard working to make you profit. This may be not aware by higher management.🧐
And in that day itself one of family struggled to take car out due some others car not parked well. They have a child also, they waited long time for getting that car away from there, you guys are looting this much amount in a coffee , then why cant you keep a guy to assist proper parking. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
"Everyone's time is precious" at least considered that..🙏🙏
Need to add one more thing, you itself keep a board showing that keep the bathroom clean. But flush is not working properly, even it's not cleaned. If you are charging this much do the best facilities to customers. Same as your cooler's switch is not working. Do maintenance...
