I believe if there is a set protocol it should be the same for everyone and not keep changing from people to people. Will not recommend Slider Station to my friends or family.
Guys if you are planning to take your family or friends over to slider station for lunch or dinner, kindly rethink. We had a very very bitter experience with Slider station, especially the person who took our reservation. Their protocols kept changing from person to person. We had called to enquire if they would accommodate a family of 7 for dinner and they had agreed over call to join three tables. Once we reached there with our family they told us that they cannot join the tables (as per protocol) and we will have to sit around 2 tables. We respected it considering they were taking measures for our benefit as well as others. As we finished the main course, paid the bill and waited for the dessert we finally stood up and moved closer to one table to share the dessert and quickly move out, soon the person who took our reservation came over and in front of all called out my name loud and said "this is not allowed". It was actually quite insulting. We did inform him that there were many other families of 6 in the restaurant for whom they had joined tables and could sit together and enjoy their dinner, his immediate response was "We can make adjustments for some people and family".
When the sales got better Slider Station forgot how to interact with customers and that customer satisfaction is still a priority. You lost a...
Read moreThis was our first time dining in at Slider Station, even though we’ve ordered through Talabat a few times. They open at 7:30 in the morning, which makes it an ideal spot for early risers like us. We arrived around 7:40 after a stroll along the beach. The place was welcoming, though empty given the early hour.
The staff was friendly and introduced himself right away. We tried the Crispy Chicken Melts, Turkish Eggs, Granola Bowl, Orange Juice, Hot Chocolate, Cortado, and Karak Tea. Everything was fresh and delicious.
The Crispy Chicken Melts were soft, juicy, and perfectly crispy. The Turkish Eggs were fantastic, with the ideal balance of poached eggs, garlicky Greek yogurt, and chili oil. The Granola, although a bit on the cold side, was crunchy and flavorful.
The ambiance of the place is also excellent, offering a peaceful view of the serene sea and gentle waves. The staff Mr Amal was very cordial and helpful.
We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely...
Read moreThese guys have lost the plot. We were here for a nice dinner having read all the good reviews. We'd decided what we wanted to order, and the waiter came to take our drinks order. I asked for one of their mixed drinks, but with one ingredient swapped (ginger ale instead of red bull, which I can't drink due to a health issue). Waiter refused and said if I couldn't drink red bull I should "choose a different drink". Called the manager and explained, and he also refused with the excuse that "we have our standard recipes.."
Guys you need to remember that the customer is boss. That night you lost the money from our dinner (since we left and ate somewhere else) but you also gained this negative review which might put a bunch more people off eating at your restaurant because they too think your attitude stinks. You can't treat paying customers with this level of arrogance. I really wanted to like your place, but your unprofessional and snooty service ethic drove me...
