The opera house is the first royal opera in the Arabian gulf. sultan Qaboos ordered its construction in2001 and was dubbed the house of Musical arts it was then changed to the royal opera house and was completed in 2007 and was opened in the October 2011 under the supervision of the royal court affairs it was built under the supervision of the engineer mohammed gad. the Royal Opera House was built on a large area of 800,000 square meters in Muscat governorate in the area close to Qurum beach where it hits building area 25,000 thousand square meters, the location of the Royal Opera House is the bound on the north by Al –kharjayah street and to the south by sultan Qaboos street The Royal Opera House consists of 8floors, the design of the building is of architectural design taken from the cultural civilization the building is bordered on the west side parking for visitors to the house and in front of parking lost there is a field it is a large open field located next to the opera house and is use for outdoor performances where the field is provided with means such as sound and lighting where all performances can be performed including plays and concerts some restaurants. According to on
