Zaytoon Bar B.Q — Restaurant in Karachi Division

I recently dined at this restaurant and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The ambiance was beautifully and thoughtfully designed, which convinced me and my family to give it a try. However, the service was slow and inattentive. It took 15 minutes for the server to finally come to our table to take our order. Despite this, I asked for recommendations on what tasted the best at the restaurant. Based on the server's recommendations, I ordered seekh kababs, chicken sajji, and afghani boti. I was told that my food would arrive in 15-20 minutes, but it took nearly an hour for it to arrive at the table after multiple reminders. The fact that it took nearly an hour for the food to arrive after multiple reminders suggests that the restaurant may have had issues with managing its kitchen and serving staff. When it finally arrived, the order was incomplete, the dishes were undercooked, and they tasted average at best. The flavors were lacklustre and the presentation was unappealing. This could be indicative of problems with the restaurant's cooking and presentation techniques. Overall, it seems that the restaurant has a number of issues that need to be addressed in order to improve the dining experience for its customers. I went there with my wife as she wanted to try it and so did I. The ambience looked quite peaceful and cozy from outside. I wanted to sit with my wife on the rooftop seating that they had as I wanted to enjoy the cool breeze. When we went there I came to know that the rooftop is only for men. I mean like really????? Secondly, the family hall seating was very cramped. Totally ruined the mood. I thought the food will make up for it. Ordered behari kabab and chicken karahi. Not worth the money as food was pre-booked and kept. Served in 10 minutes. Karachi was bland and did not have either the flavour of spice or of tomatoes. The beef Bihari was dry due to excessive cooking I guess. The mineral water bottle and the can were chilled so hats off, their refrigerator works nicely. Good job. But apart from that, sorry to say, NOT WORTH IT. And it ain't cheap even. Costed us 1845/- I could have had steak from Kaybees in this amount or fish from Khan Quetta Restaurant. Sorry for the harsh review, but...

Pricing: price is a bit high but not justified the taste..
