Went to Waheed kabab today with my wife. Fry kabab were awesome as usual. No problem with quality
When we were done, I asked the waiter for the bill so I could transfer them as always. I have Waheed kabab's beneficiary added on my mobile because I have been there many many times. I am sure it's most people favorite
Waiter said we are not taking card or bank transfer anymore. I went downstairs and asked the manager that I have been paying by bank transfer all these times
' nahi ham nahi laitay transfer . Apki ghalti hai, apko puchna chaiye tah'
I showed him his account added as beneficiary but he very rudely responded to me nahi, ap cash lekar ayain
So me and wife decided to go across the street and bring cash.
So I paid in cash on my return
I am not asking anyone to boycott them. Bohat acha taste hai, go for it if you haven't tried it
But please next time you go, just do a simple favor. Ask them Kay likh kar kyun nahi lagaya ab tk Kay pay with cash only hai
This will save many families from the hustle of finding the bank and most importantly to deal with rude behavior of these people
Jazakallah...
Read moreThis place is a gastronomic heaven for those craving for some spicy barbecue with gravy, because they're known for their really delicious 'fried kebab'! I visited this place first back in 2009, but a few months ago, when I had almost forgotten about it, a friend of mine reminded about this place and we then decided to try them out after such a long time. Do make sure to pack some antacids though, because the fried kebabs sure are spicy! They offer most of the local barbecue as well as nihari, which do taste great as well, but their fried kebab is something you'd want to come back again just for the sake of it. And very light on your pocket too, as you may feel full under 500 PKR. The place then again, does have a bit of hygiene issues (and honestly, there are places far and few within this town which are...
Read moreMy recent takeout order from Waheed Kabab Fry was a flavorful experience, yet it fell short of the nostalgic taste I was hoping for. The kababs were cooked well and had a satisfying flavor, but they didn't quite match the deliciousness I remembered from past visits. It seemed like there might have been some changes to the recipe or cooking method, resulting in a slightly different taste. While the food was enjoyable, it didn't fully capture the essence of Waheed Kabab Fry's traditional flavors. Despite this, the takeout process was smooth. I believe Waheed Kabab Fry could benefit from revisiting their original recipes to recapture the authentic taste that made them popular. With a few adjustments, they could easily regain their reputation for serving top quality kababs with that...
